so I've just sold my first domain on sedo for 99 but sedo are taking 76 commision? Surely that can't be right? Any information is greatly appreciated.
That's a terrible first experience to have as a domainer...
I'm sorry that happened to you.
You might be able to convince a manager to lower the commission, mention something about why on earth would sedo recommend selling at 99$ to you if they take pretty much all the money.
I've managed to persuade companies to bend the trick is making a compelling argument and twisting things so it's their fault, persistence, and well luck.
I had almost the same thing happen to me with Sedo back in 2008. First Sedo sale. They took almost all the money. I went back and forth with a supervisor for two weeks. They absolutely refused to budge. I can't remember the details now. But it was something like a $60 sale and they took $50 commission.
Hi,
My cheapest ones at SEDO is priced at $195. Starting from next year, my minimum price will be $295.

It used to be $60 but they upped it recently
You can increase the price to adjust sedo commission. But there should be buyers interested in that level.Hi,

Why not change them now though?
I will not renew most of my $195-ones so I will simply delete them from SEDO when they expire.
Should just liquidate them, if they're worth something.
If you are not going to renew then auction it in NamePros. Atleast you will get few $I will not renew most of my $195-ones so I will simply delete them from SEDO when they expire.
Good idea! Thanks!
