Hello Npers,

Decided to login to NP after a looonnnnnnnnng time. I was a very active member on 2008-2010 with a portfolio of over 1500+ domains. Then decided to sell/abandon domain(ing?) to start a new career.

How is the domain market now? Is it still profitable enough? What has changed in NP?

Cheers,
James

I just started domaining November last year so I can't give you an answer. Just happy that a veteran has decided to enter the game again. Wishing you all the best! :)

Some changes, but for the most part business as usual. The biggest development has been the release of a LOT of new gTLDs. DotCOM is still king, and probably even more-so with the availability of so many new options. Brandables are catching on (finally) and there's a current uptick in demand and values for LLLL.com's.

Welcome back!

Thank you all. I moved into web development.
I have been doing a lot of reading on domains and current trends. I would like to build a small portfolio.
Glad to be back.B-)

Hey, I remember you! :P

I've been inactive for a while myself. I never amassed a portfolio reaching your numbers... I think at my peak I was sitting on ~200 domains. But now, I'm down to one. The one I've had for the past 11 years.

But it's good to be back. Welcome back, man. :)

Welcome back. Yes there are lots of new extensions, so lots of new interesting possibilities. Remember though that quality sells, and .com still reigns. Good luck.
