I have recently read that the drone industry is trying to change the word "drone" to something different.

The word "drone" has a very bad rep. for obvious reasons.

What do you think will happen with the word "drone" and drone domain names?

@ HiTechBiniou ii guess droniste are brandable drone related domain, i guess u should stick on .com for brandables, just my opnion

As an fyi, I saw HaloDrone.com is coming available in the drop tomorrow. For anyone interested in it, if you check the domain through something like domainiq.com you'll see it's flagged as having potential trademark issues with Microsoft.

Just put up actionsportdrone dot com for sale on Flippa.

Will see how it goes...

Most of drones are "Auto Follow" did you notice that? So action sport drones is a good fit I think.

I dit sell digitalactioncameras dot com on Flippa last year so action sports are trendy.

I got my first "drone" domain in 2014 and my second just a few months after that.

I wanted to develop maybe some e-commerce site similar to ownadrone.com. I currently have them parked. Waiting to see what happens in this industry.
