What is the Proper Keyword Density for SEO?

Keyword density is dead - forget it. Write normally. If you read your content out loud and it sounds like it was written by a parrot, you overdid it.

You may want to read up a little on Hummingbird and some of Google's patents. And for that matter, the history of modern search engines since the late 1990's. Optimal keyword density is a myth - write natural content. Include the keyword in the right places, don't keep repeating it. End of story.

You must be aware that there is not a thumb rule for anything in the SEO but writing a natural looking content with adding 2-3 times your keyword in the content with proper prominence and proximity can be a good practice but it depends on the quality of your content.

If you are talking about the percentage, it is 3 to 4 % but you can use variations. Best tip to write a good content is that you should write for readers not for search engines because if your content is readers friendly and easy to understand for everyone. Definitely it will consider as the best content ever.

Google is focusing now on natural and in depth content. The more informative your content is the better visibility your content will get in search engines.

There is no clear value for this.Using the keywords in your content just a few times in a sensible manner can gain you 80-90% on-page optimization value.

I think only 2% keywords is best.
