Well, there must be a few UK based people on this forum.

So, give a shout out. Let's link up. Have a chat. Grab a coffee. Go on a hiking trip to Snowdonia. Visit a football match. Chase some pigeons in Trafalgar Square like five year olds. Have a couple of bottles at Balls Brothers.

So, where are you all?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
The vinho and beer are cheaper in PT, lucky for me.

It seems the majority of UK domainers are in the south east of the country, maybe something in the water!

You aren't a million miles away from me championshipforum, I live in Yorkshire at the moment!

(in case you are wondering how I knew that, you currently have a domain on domainlore, searched username, found twitter account, link from tweet led to one of your threads.... I'm an accidental stalker I guess!).

So many good UK domainers here and we can put together a meeting or something ? to create some kind of consortium or a pool of domains, mastermind groups, exchange experiences or something else ?

Every time I try to push something like this forward, life happens - but if anyone wants to arrange a meet, there was definitely a fair amount of interest when I originally put the idea forward!

Would suggest either an evening meet (and drink) in the summer months or something at a mainstream IT event in London, or similar. :)

Just pick a date.
Friday 26th June.
Sorted.

Perhaps have a purely social event first, then anyone who wants to do something a bit more formal along the lines of Mobiller suggestion can arrange it at that event perhaps?

Agree. Its not going to appeal to everyone but its a case of getting something off the ground. Keep the first meet very casual and go from there. London makes sense for those closer to the South of England, it may need a handful of organisers to get their area off the ground.
