I have some questions regarding what looks best when dealing with end users.

Is it best and most professional to find me a good name and deal with potential end users using a Business name ?

Or as many have said,.. Should I send emails off to the end users, using the email from the domain on offer..?

Just wanted some feedback regarding what works/looks best..

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
In my opinion using a Business name is much better than using an email from that particular domain because:
When you use a business name then eventually you will make a brand out of it and that is one important thing when you are dealing with strangers. If they come and check the URL(Business name) and find that this is a registered company and working in this field since 5 years they will feel like they can deal with you.
Also I personally never check the email address of the emails offering similar domains.

You make some great points !

Obviously dealing as a business, would it be in my best interest to have a website..? Obviously that comes back to looking professional?

Exactly and on the other hand emailing with different emails can get lot more messy then you think and it does not makes any other strong point except "I OWN THIS DOMAIN".
I hope you get my point.

IMO Either way is good but if you're going to use your own business name you're going to have to have a really good domain name yourself. So if you're using a subpar regfee domain as your business name then you're only contradicting yourself. Use a good made up brandable instead of something like bobsdomainstore.com

I personally get a good response ratio when I email from the actual domain because the way I pitch names, I give ideas of why I myself acquired it to develop (I was going to make an app, etc) and it comes across as more genuine and gives them the same ideas.

No matter what you do there are advantages and disadvantages, coming across as a broker or a domain dealer you can be labeled a squatter or spammer by some, professional by others.

Emailing from the actual domain can come across as the opposite.

Eventually, I did want to establish myself a reputable business. I may as well start now and have my "brand" recognized for it.

I have actually been looking for a nice domain to build by business around, so I am still weighing up options..

Though, I must say, you have me thinking twice now..
