i think no.
For $9 flippa listing you can't get eyeballs but still cheap. You can claim free listing by appraise 15 domain there.

Yeah, I believe you get 2 at a time for free. Once you close those, you can open 2 more.

Remember that Godaddy will charge 20% commission out of sale between $0-$5000, and Flippa charge %10.

Sometimes we must look at what we're holding and ask ourselves whether it's worth the gamble to auction it for $X or not. If you're not up to pushing your domain to auction and paying for it, maybe you lack faith or maybe it's not a good domain.

With that said, NamePros is free.

that's exactly it. as a fairly new person to the game, I definitely prefer free to $9. when I'll be less new to the game, and have more confidence, it will no longer matter to me... for reasons you mentioned.

so for now, I try and stick to buynows and make offers, which are always free everywhere.

as for many eyeballs, well, let's not be too modest, I think Namepros is doing quite well in that department and forsale ads posted here get potentially more views than on many auction sites I saw so far. some of the for sale ads here I see get 100 views per day. possibly more. how long does one need to wait for 100 views on their domain for sale with afternic or sedo? at least for a buynow .. a month? 5 months? I'd think so.

It should also be noted that with GoDaddy you're required to submit a tax form before you can start selling there and PayPal payouts is not default afaik. Each marketplace seems to have it's own buyer interests, GD is far more general but Flippa is more suited for well established sites and better quality domains.

eBay. More eyeballs if u know how to list properly. Otherwise auction will end without a Bid.

FreeMarket(dot)com is the option you are looking for I guess. Its owned by Freelancer(dot)com so you can trust them I guess but the market is new and they are trying to get more and more domainers there by contacting them using whois data. No Listing Fees and 5% Commission thats the lowest it can get.
Else you can always try best Domain Forums including NamePros(0% Fees).

I wonder how many horror stories like this are out there for this company, or is bottom line here that one case is enough to keep away.. I guess it's a valid question

it's like people having bad stories with paypal or ebay... and many others being able to put bread on table for their families thanks to places like that.

I don't suppose you care to expand on this "proper listing" part do you? I noticed for instnace many there use the ADS category... which essntially lets them bypass selling limits.. and list a domain for 1 million lol. not that that's a good idea. plus a domain listing in ads category is anything but free.. it's actually same price as flippa to list there (upfront fee) last I checked.

bottom line... if you see a domain for sale on ebay at 200k or 500k or 1million.. well it's not because seller has some high rep and unlimited selling limits.. but because he paid $9 to list it as an "ad" type listing.

I never even heard of Bido before, so decided to go blind into registration yesterday.. expectoing nothing more or other than another afternic/sedo lookalike.. but lo behold I was suprised.. this is totally different. people getting paid to vote my domains for auctions. wow. who would have thought.

well.. I gave it a shot with 10 of my domains.. 3 got voted 3 times each within first hour.. we'll see how it goes.

still.. even if your domain gets voted at the min bido price you set there, that does not guarantee the auction will reach that level.. or go beyond it.
