Hi, what do you think would be the next big CCTLD? .cn is gaining some ground, what else? Are CCTLDs valuations based on a country's economic growth? what are some other attributes considered to valuate these domains?

I think .LY TLD is hot after .IO :$:

I like .uk domain names registered under the second level domain. This is new.

.io is already hot and is preferred over .net

From dngeek.com
This week we saw a total of 42 startups announce seed or angel investment which is slightly up from last week when we looked at 38 newly funded startups and their domain names. More than 71% of this weeks startups launched on a .com domain with .io being a very distant 2nd with 3 startups opting for this extension.

Cheap renewal's, word hacks and short forwarders are why I love .in and .al, and why they will take hotness to the next level.

.cc, .cn, .io, .ly

Possibly .ee and .gg in the future

What makes you say that? where would be the best place to sell NNN.io's? I have some good ones but havent been in touch with going rates. I have some premium ones like 383.io. Thanks.

It seems like 99% of .io sales come from flippa or park.io. I would say .io is becoming very niche rather than experiencing a bubble, but it's nice to see it selling relatively well nonetheless.

I'd like to see sales on Godaddy and other venues only on flippa and park.io is a limited audience.

Why would that be ironic? Because of what people say?

It sounds ironic to suggest .tv and .us are the next bubble because everyone knows they are already dead extensions. What evidence can you share that anything in these 2 extensions shows any sign of life. Or is it because they have no life that you are specuating these will become bubbles next?

Because the hype doesnt match the fundamentals. At the end of the day , the "webmaster" or "startup community" types are not enough to make an extension a "success". Look at how many LLLs and NNNs are still available. When will .io see 4M regs? 200 years? lol. Just my 2 cents...

.UK - I hope, bought 60 NNNN B-)

.cn - been in to them for some time. Finally getting interest and just sold a 5N.cn for $1100
