Hey Guys,

i need some help figuring out how hugedomains.com redirects their domain that are listed for sale on their website.

eg if you go to > Glossary.com

it redirects to for sale page > http://www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=glossary&e=com

name servers for this domain is:
NS1.NAMEBRIGHTDNS.COM
NS2.NAMEBRIGHTDNS.COM

Basically what i am trying to do is to forward all the new domains that i register automatically to my main site by changing the Name Servers.

any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks
MG

Hello
You need to use A 301 or 302 HTTP redirect code.
Better use 302, because he tells browsers that site/domain has been temporary moved to another place on the web.
Code 301 is for permanently moved sites. And it is used when you move from domain.net to domain.com or something similar.
Both have precise use for SEO purposes.

The easiest way is 301 domain redirection, indeed. You can easily find methods in google or using your control panel

You also need some sort of wildcard in your DNS servers, so they will serve any domain that points to them.

Then you perform a redirect (that can be done using an Apache rewrite rule). Or set up a generic page that parses the requested URL.

I would go with a 301 redirect.
