Bought a new .io domain through sedo last week a NN.io , bit of an investment and gamble but worth a shot in my opinion.

Anyone investing in .io domains? please feel free to share your investments.

Cheers

I sold webmasters.io on there yesterday for $362, hand regged about 3 months ago

Seems like a good name, surprised it didn't go for more

3d.io - high bid was $4400 - reserve not met.

blogs.io -high bid was me at $225 - reserve not met.

Of course, one BANNED and one SUSPENDED bidder found in the blogs.io bids.

Are you kidding me? That auction never got near my reserve. I don't know you you are, but, you've really kissed me off by implying that I'm connected to shill bidding in any way. I even deleted Dimitry Lewis from the comments because I didn't want his name near my auction.

You need to do a bit more research before trying to tarnish people's good reputation.

I don't care about that
Sure you do. The point of an auction is to sell. If you're just testing the market than dissappointment was achieved.

Anyhow, Flippa is dirty so you can't blame people for questioning each and every bid.

It's one name. It doesn't matter.

Ya, I can blame people for calling out my auctions.

3d.io - Re-auction it, sometimes auctions do better second time around as there is more exposure. Also a name like this should grab attention of end users. Email, call etc to get their attention. Post in groups on LinkedIn

Namejet is shady too. But it has to make one think, why are you so defensive about your auction? After all, you simply listed the domain. What happens amongst bidders isn't your worry ;)

No biggie man. Don't feed the fire!

Just because I take my reputation seriously. It's the most important thing online.

What are you defending? You put a domain on auction. Your job is done. Bidders aren't your concern. The end.

Wasn't meant to be an indictment of YOU, just the current .io auction ecosystem itself. My apologies if it seemed as if I was implying something about you.

I assume my chances of a post-auction offer being accepted have greatly diminished.

Fair enough Beezy. Sorry for taking it so personal, Initially I read it as you trying to tie me in with the obvious io shill bidders, but, I understand now where you were coming from.

I responded quickly, probably should have thought it through more.

I didn't even now that any of my bidders had been banned. Looking at it now that doesn't give much confidence to other bidders.

Thanks for clearing it up

I like Chairman.io, you could possibly develop it into a kind of portal with loads of tools/help/resources for startup CEOs or even bigger companies.
Good luck.

Keyword .io domains IMO are a good investment but the current reseller market is typically only buying names related to tech, design, development, coding etc at least that is what I surmise from recent sales.
