We need this one too guys :)

This guide will also help LLLL.com holders to understand more the value of their 4 letters .com based on how expensive the similar 3 letters .com are.

From:

http://3character.com/priceguide.html

Pricing Guide for 3-Letter (Composed Of Letters Only) Domains:

Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of February 1, 2008:

3-Letter .com - $6700 (+ $300 since January 1, 2008 report)

But I consider their guide a bit old since they are not taking in consideration the emergenging countries that appreciate other letters and as we have run a poll here several times lately, the majority of people consider the letters U
and W to be Premium letters.

Let`s have a look at some recent LLL.com sales as reported from NameBio.com :

The GoDaddy sale didn't go through, from there on we had a private sale. The Chinese buyer held it for a year before it was resold to Changyou. Looks like GoDaddy lost a big commission in the process.

PXA .com went for $7k (DNF).

No, it was $5,900. The BIN was lowered before the sale, the post was then modified to say "pending sale."

more importantly, you were able to buy it from BT. I tried to buy it in 2012 and the decision to sell was pending but they never come back.

it seems timing is everything...

good sale but for one of the oldest domains around you could have ask more. then again, what matters in the end is the money on our pockets, not what it could have been worth.

got these from estibot:

domainnamesales

vwo.com $30,000 (buyer is the owner of a killer app in the world of split testing. The domain was part of about 100 domains that change hands from Marchex to Sherene Blackett and were put on sale at 4.cn and after at namejet. seems to have been sold two months before this one)

wvo.com $30,000 (doesn't seem to be valid. owner is still the same end-user)

flp.com $40,000 (seems to have changed hands at the end of last year from a guy that bought the domain from an end-user in 2011)

sedo

rmx.com $10,000 (doesn't seem to be valid. domain is still with the same domainer since at least 2009)

regards,
tonecas

On my *Carl Sagan time travlers list*, remember to register a bunch of .coms and invest in bitcoins haha.

I guess they are in the market at a higher level. They buy-sell domains at $x,xxx-$xx,xxx, unlike most of the others who are at $x-$x,xxx
