Best Google apps alternative for Personal email?

Just wondering what email hosts some of you use for your business email. I've used Google Apps for Business in the past to set up my personalized domain email address, but the sign-up process is frustrating. I'm getting a ton of bugs, redirects to blank pages, it's not letting me log-in etc. on both *Chrome* and IE. Instead of calling customer service, I feel like "F' 'em" and I rather use someone else.

Any recommendations for other email providers with the simplicity of gmails inbox panel. Something in the same price range ($5/month)

Hush.com is a good alternative, it has no ads and it's super simple to use.

It is a pain to setup your domain to use the Google Apps web mail service, but it is simply amazing once you have it setup correctly. I think I resolved the issue within 30 minutes of being on hold. Now, I use it for Hangouts for KPI's, etc. It's unbeatable with the features you can do if you decide to grow your business with employees around the world.

I know it's a little off topic, but if you're willing to still pay $5/mo per user, stick with it. It will be much more rewarding.

Check out Rackspace Email. It is about $2/mo./box. They are very reliable and well known. The account comes with 24/7 support and 25GB of space.

You know, to be honest I have been trying to answer this question myself, and I haven't found anything better or more convenient to use than Google Apps / Gmail. Sorry. :(
