Am I the only one longing for the previous Moniker's control panel? I bet not.

@abc3200 - You should check the whois for each domain to see if they were Registered at Moniker or a Moniker Reseller. I've experienced and heard that all Moniker Reseller registered domains have/were dumped to NetSol. Do you also have a NetSol Account? You might check there for your domains.

Thank you. I do have a NetSol account, but I don't see my names there.

Actually, I have multiple NS accounts. How do I know which one it would go to?

They would go into the NetSol account which SnapNames uses for your won SnapNames auctions.

I thought I would post an update. I STILL have not been refunded for renewals processed on domains that were turned off. The charges were from 6.2.2012. I filed a complaint at the bbb. But the reply I received from Moniker on that complaint was basically: sure, we will refund you, call support. Which I have already done countless times with no success despite being promised that the refund would be applied.

The names that were acquired through snapnames auctions years ago were able to be transferred out to godaddy. Even though they showed different whois like Compuglobalhypermega.com and Domainamania.com. Even though moniker told me repeatedly that I had to contact snapnames to find out where the names were. I did contact snapnames, but they said:

We have reached out to Moniker regarding you domain names and as of right now we are not able to move them to Network Solutions for management. You will have to contact Moniker directly at 1800-688-6311 for assistance regarding your domain names. We have asked that Moniker reach out to customers that are having trouble with the domains that have been acquired through Snapnames but we are unsure when that will happen. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your cooperation.

I finally was tired and just tried to move the names and it worked....

In my opinion, you'd be a fool to give Moniker one more red cent of your hard-earned money. A total fool.

You're so right. Moniker's interface is horrible. It's near impossible to find their transfer-in domain prices. Also any pricing overview (by TLD) is nowhere to be found. Their main page is terrible, because of the colors and layout it's easy to miss how to even begin to register a domain there. That could be a good thing for those who don't know better.

I had a few domains in that same situation. You should file a support ticket at SnapNames basically requesting your NSI account login info. for your domains. Address your ticket to Sarah. This young lady is most competent and has been very helpful.

Nearly forgot! In your ticket, request that your issue/problem be updated to "Level II Tech Support"! This will get things moving along a little bit faster.

And there is a second way if NSI has already setup an account for you. Do a User ID retrieval and, if NSI has, then a Password reset.

There aren't words to describe just how badly they've fucked up that system and that interface and basically the whole operating system in general. Thank god I got my important names out of there but I'll be completing a full migration shortly. Anyone got the line on who has the cheapest .us renewals?

I have literally never once in the past several years been able to transfer a domain name away from Moniker to another registrar without having the transfer fail.

Without fail I always get the following email response from the gaining registrar:

"The registry rejected the transfer request due to an ineligible domain status"

Moniker drives me to hate. Have never encountered a more frustrating company. This is just one example and the tip of the iceberg. I have plenty more legit complaints I could dish out. fucking so tired of them. Barely worth using Snapnames anymore, which is the only reason I have any domains that end up there any more.
