I was wondering how much everyone makes with domain parking. Please post how much YOU makes and how many domains you own :)

Myself I'm very new to domain parking and I paid a friend of mine to find domains for me and I'm making $30-$50 daily with 31 domains :)

This is my first month and so far $480.

so, approximately each name you have, earns $1 a day or more.

how much did you pay your friend for each name they found?

I pay him $150 per 10 domains, and then I have to buy them for $10 each. So I have invested $750 for 30 domains :)

I make more than enough. I really don't think people will share this type of information.

But I make roughly $xx,xxx.xx Per month

Also, when I see posts like this where people are saying, I make this much and im brand new to parking but my friends hooked me up; typically this screams Fake Traffic, Robots, etc...

Also, the fact you only have 4 posts and they are all here make me think you are fishing for something.

Just my two cents and I could be wrong.

Agree with Smurge.
Is not that easy at the beginning. And Why someone will accept 150$ for 10 domains that will make at least 1$ a day?
In my world, if it sounds strange, it's strange.

Wow You guys really rock...I am very new in domain parking...I don't knw where to start...I simply buy domains to build/develop them and have portfolio of over 100 domains right now out of which 50% are going under development and roughly 20% are developed and rest are parked till the time there turn comes for development and from them I am earning cents/day...

So Is there any one which can help me buy few domains that I can earn atleast 100-200 $ /month

that what kicked off my spider sense at first

however, the OP sent me a few names from his list and imo, they are quite generic, product or service related names, that could receive some type-in traffic.

so for now, if traffic and rev hold up, looks like "sharehare" made some sound investments.

Good Luck!

Hmmm, what is his generic domain look like? Just curious about name that generated rev :D

I dont believe you :) Its very hard to find domains which are earning 1 USD per day without appropriate tools.

Interesting

I found this thread because I seem to have acquired a few domain names with the intent of developing them. It ticked me off that go-daddy was parking them with ads so I decided to look into this myself.

I would like to know, share-share, are you still doing well at this.

I realize people don't want to share this information. I have been looking around for mentors for e-commerce. My couple of sites do OK but I would really like to get to the next level. For that, it cannot be read in books or self taught, you have to find a mentor, and the right one at that.

Hi Carrie

ALL registrars are putting ads on your domain names, until YOU do something with them.

it didn't used to be that way but since the "ppc" boom started, registrars have made that action a "default", upon registration.

still, there is money to be made in domain parking, and to "do well" or be "doing well", is proportional to the amount of domain names you own, along with your ability to sustain the portfolio with those earnings, domain sales or other 'residual' web related income.

and although it's nice to just have some dollars coming from domain parking, you really don't want to be dependent on a single revenue stream.

Good Luck!

imo....

I have about 80 domains parked and I make between €60 - €110 a month. Although some of those domains don't make a cent a few seem to get steady traffic and others have high cpc which makes up for those that don't.

Firstly I would like to congratulate shareshare for a wondeful starts on a domaining business. But you could not blame others who are too long in this kind of business, not tobe suspicious about the figures you that have given. Personally I am impressed. But a few questions in my mind that i couldn't help to wonder.

1. Your "friend" who search and scout domains on your behalf is definitely an internet guru..
2. if he give you 10 names for $150, and this names are earning $10 a day, $300 a month, $3,600 a year
for an investment of a registration of $30 , a total of $3,570 and give it away to other? well he is too generous to do that, Id rather kepp it for myself and continuesly increase my portfolio and get rich fast.

I have started this hobby for the last 2 years and the best i got for the moment was my 10 domains that generates a minimum of $5 a month and i am happy with it.

But as I have said, Your lucky and If I were you, I will take a good care of my "friend" who registered a profit generated domain names for you.

Good luck

Do you realise the OP hasn't posted for 6 months so it's possible the earnings on his screenshot have been chargebacks. Probably the guy who sold him the domains was into something fishy!

Some people when money is involved, have no values or moral.

My earnings wasnt chargeback and i got paid. Although i asked him where the traffic came and he said ppc. So it wasnt legit rly. Im not ordering anymore from him. Hope this clear things up

Cheers!

If he knows of PPC traffic which converts well as they did in your case, then he should be using it on his own parked domains - there are some Parking companies which accept arb traffic if the traffic quality is good. So instead of cancelling your deal with him you should have changed your business model with him.

Ibidu, thats not so simple. They kind of crash all new accounts doing arbitrage on Yahoo, BUT some are earning 300 K + per month. But I find that very risky, out of a sudden, there could be a lawsuit coming from Yahoo and when such amount of money is involved its counted towards international criminal act stuff.

i have been parking domains since the verey beginning of parking domains .

trust me whe i tell you that story is FISHY as FISHY can bee - something is very off and i can guarantie you that . 13 years of parking domains have told me one thing - if it is too good to be true - it certainly is !!!

i know enough to know that if i ever heart any b@@@sh@@t this this is it - there is NO WAY someone is that stupid to sell you fantastic domains like this for next to nothing .

it is just not possible ! - somewhere - somehow there is a scam involved - PERIOD !

if these would be domains that actually and HONESTLY making money - not fraudulant clicks - that person would easy get 10 times that much for each and every single domain he is selling .

in fact i would pay 10 times as much - however fact is there is something wrong with these domains !
