I doubt it. Godaddy gets the last laugh at renewal time.

You have to remember most of Godaddy's domainers are individuals who own 1-3 domains paying full price. That being said, I may purchase another 20 groupons tonight and renew until 2014

What you're witnessing right now is most likely the cause and effect from that Host Gator $1.95 Unlimited transfer special that popped up out of nowhere christmas week... i know some people who literally saved thousands of dollars in that deal moving hundreds and hundreds of names over to them.

GD probably lost money on projections and is looking to balance the books for the upcoming year(s).

Funny thing though... GD will still come out miles ahead because i'm sure the many that did take advantage of that Host Gator deal - will easily transfer all of those names right back to where they came from (at GD) over the course of the next year with each passing code... and you KNOW that GD will make sure that happens.
Could be a GREAT year for us all

Search for cities on the west coast including Canada. Windsor, Saskatoon, Abbotsford, Lincoln and Tucson are still going. There are plenty of others just can't confirm, busy with auctions right now.

Btw as far as TDNAM auction prices are concerned. Now is the perfect time to buy. There are less bidders competing for quality names. I am getting better auction prices now than I have gotten all year.

I was able to use it a couple of hours ago in the UK. I clicked on the link posted by GiftedDomains, checked that the currency was Canadian Dollars, changed the country at the bottom to Canada, added three .com domains for a bulk transfer, went to checkout and saw C$3.81 total. Only then did I log in at the top, the price remained the same and I was able to pay without any problems.

The best bet I found with TV is to use the 50% off new service code when you transfer, it goes down to $20, and note you can add as many years as you want for $20 so might want to take advantage of that as I haven't seen .tv below $20 in past years?
