Domain Apprasial Scam Thread

I just got an email from this guy. Could you provide details as to why he's a scammer? He claims he wants to buy one of my domains. Thanks!

He does not want to buy your doman. He will send you an email asking you to get an appraisal, then after you spend the money on the appraisal he will not buy your name.

He is a scammer!

He is just an idiot scammer with no life, with nothing better to do then send out the same email to thousands of people. Just ignore him and send his email to the spam folder.

got an email from this guy yesterday.
still uses the name Lemmer.
he made a bid on 2 of my domains and asked for payment info.
he also asked me if I am a fellow domainer and which domain boards/forums + nicknames I use.
I told him I am all over the place but didn't give him (nick)names.
No response after that.
My guess is he will soon become a member of NP and start spreading positive threads about David Lemmer.

OK, just found out that his domains are regged and hosted at GoDaddy, so about to get to the bottom of this and get his operation shut down. If he sends from any other domain or name, please post to this thread. Thanks. Please SPAM his emails too.

I did a Google search, obviously no NH Investment Solutions. I find it amusing when somone lists themselves as a CEO and there are zero records online.

Yeah he is an idiot. At least if you are going to scam people come with something better.... That guy messed with the wrong person. He didnt scam me, but I just dont like him.

He sent me an email too offering me 25k usd for my 6 domains, thought it was too good to be true.

He also mentioned a forum where he promoted his thread.

Hi all,

I have just joined this forum. I found this forum by chance as I was trying to fish out a possible scam and by reading this post I am glad that I did. So thanks to "Thechamp"

This person/s are using another name, The email formatting is very similar. He introduced himself as Isaac Schumacher

I am a newbie on dealing with domains but a bit more savvy to fall for this scam. Hope to be learning from the pros here in this new venture.

1. We need a valuation certificate.

We need a good in depth analysis made by experts but not an automated free service. Without it we both can't be sure in the price.

2. We need a trademark verification as well. Just a formality to be sure you have no problems with trademarks.

Good companies offers this as a part of appraisal. I asked in the forum about reliable valuation/TM verification services.

This guy is officially the dumbest scammer alive. Once I find out who he is am going to submit him to the Genius Book of World Records for the dumbest mf'er alive! I obviously did not fall for his scam the first time, but he keeps emailing me llike am going to fall for it with the same message. But anyways, here is what he is using now.

Unfortunately, these scams work because there is an endless line of fresh naifs who get scammed by this kind of trickery.

We just need to keep hammering at these bad guys and gals (yes, they exist as well) and hope that we can minimize their damage as much as possible.
