...and before you form a relationship with them, let it be known that I followed their directions and got a free domain - confirmed, approved, and registered... then a few hours later it was removed from my account...I emailed customer support SEVERAL TIMES... as of yet no response back exactly what the heck is going on :(

and guys, you may want to read this disaster "feedback" section regarding this registrar --> http://australiansearchengine.wordpress.com/2012/01/02/crazydomains-com-au-review-feedback/

I feel sorry for Australians trying to contact them via telephone and do business with them...unbelievable... I guess I now understand why my emails are not being returned.

Lot of luck with this...

I would expect these things for free domain registration. :)
Why bother contacting them? You will not get back your domain. Also .asia is already cheap :) You can reg .asia domains at $3.49 at Domains.gs

Good luck :)

I think $5 is much for that domain.

Let me know please

I just registered some at domains.gs (btw, the logo says Domain.GS, not Domains.GS) and the Paypal payment went through 45 minutes ago and the items are still in my cart, unregistered!!!

I have no confidence in this company.

haha yeah.

Seems about an hour or so after placing the order, 2 of 4 domains are ready to use and two are pending but my info is showing up on NSI whois. but I did check about a half hour after my payment completed on GoDaddy and it was still showing the name which I checked on as being available and it was still in my cart on domains.gs

Spoke too soon. I got two but lost two. All were purchased in a single Paypal transaction and the times of domain creation for the two I got were well before the two I lost:

Domain Create Date:01-Oct-2012 14:14:02 UTC
Domain Create Date:01-Oct-2012 14:23:45 UTC
Domain Create Date:01-Oct-2012 14:54:44 UTC
Domain Create Date:01-Oct-2012 14:54:44 UTC

The latter two, both by same person at GoDaddy.

@officevalue, We are sorry for the inconvenience, we did our best but it wasn't enough. I believe the admin arranged a good deal for you.
Please let us know if you need further help.

@njsurfer77, what's wrong with the extension? Anyway, you should think more about the keyword itself. Please don't make judgements, before you try our service.

To avoid any misunderstanding, www.domain.gs and www.domains.gs are the same site. We do own both of them :)

Thank you

My comment was geared toward the extension and not the actual service or company itself.

My comment may have givin off the wrong idea that was not intended, so it was deleted.

I wish you the best of luck with your service.

To be fair, they did offer me a discount on a future purchase. The first time around, I was trying to snag 4 just dropped .asias and they were apparently waiting for some confirmation of my payment from Paypal and they registered two of four. Unfortunately, in the mean time, someone registered a couple.

Second time I registered a bunch but FYI if you use them, you should only do ten at a time or it will lock up the name in their DB and you can't check out with it in that session and you can't add it in a future session until they delete it from the DB.

Otherwise, at $3.49 it is the best deal I could find on .asia.
