New Sedo "This domain for sale" template ?

Hello,

some time ago i visited sedo parked domain-page which simply tell "This domain is for sale"

I mean it was not small, somewhere hidden link,
no it was in the middle, big etc.

Some days later i asked sedo how can i do that too. Sedo support explained me that this is in test-stage and i can't.

Two days ago i noted now there is in Parking Panel "sales lander"-template.

Have you tried this ? Any improvements ?

(btw. Just if you are curious what it looks like -> kifa(dot)net )

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
yes, a very CONSPICUOUS Park page. and the new template should therefore be able to drive high volumes of leads to increase sale conversion rate.

I forward all my sedo domains to their for sale page. In your example this would be this page:
http://www.sedo.co.uk/search/details.php4?domain=kifa.net

That is the page visitors see when they open the domain. I completely bypass parking. I wish they would improve that page. They could add a phone number for instance. I have seen a phone number on that page for their vip clients.

I also wish I could use that page as a landing page without url forwarding the domain but instead setting nameservers. They simply need to add a setting that would allow me to select a checkbox to forward the domain to its landing page that uses their nameservers instead landing on a parking page.

They don't seem to understand some people don't want to park but are only interested in selling domains. Parking is completely dead for the type of domains I'm working with. It is a waste of time to talk about it. I don't want to park, I don't want to talk about parking, I don't want to see any parking page.

Just to add the domain to my sedo account I sometimes park the domain for a day and as soon as it is added to my account I forward the domain to its sales page. A lot of my sales happen within a short time after I purchase the domain. I'm annoyed with sedo because they don't understand that I don't give a damn about parking and I only want to sell domains.

Sedo is the biggest marketplace but they don't provide an easy way just to open a domain and a see a page that says, this domain is for sale, this is the price, click here to buy. I have to go in to each domain registrar and manually forward the domain. ıt is easy with some registrars but not with all. Sometimes I need to go through checkout and pay zero USD to add URL forwarding. Some registrars (moniker) don't even have free URL forwarding. Also the forwarding setting gets lost when I transfer the domain elsewhere. All this because sedo forces sellers to park.

Sedo people are stupid.

"some time ago i visited sedo parked domain-page which simply tell "This domain is for sale" "
-------

Type in flashgroup.net

sales.domcollect.com/?domain=flashgroup.net&lang=gb

Do you mean this one?

This is domcollects/sedo company for sale page, looks really nice but I don't think its available to their customers, pitty, I really like it.

For names with little traffic it would be a better and perhaps a safer option.

I like the Sales Lander template, and have been switching a lot of my domains to it since I first noticed it last month. I like the fact that the link is a lot more obvious.

DomCollect and certain other companies have relationships with Sedo, so that's why they're able to list phone numbers and contact names. So far, I like the Sales Lander page the best out of Sedo's templates.

I had no idea about this sales lander. I have been doing what Erdy is doing. It does add up time and frustration incorporating each url. I'll have give the new lander a try.
