Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

I dont really see a trend in this. The market seems to be pretty stable but not really going anywhere so far.

The Quad premium chart at LLLLsales shows a bit of an increasing trend.

The biggest trend is in the 5th percentile which rose 57% over the year. Minimum prices have risen and we're no longer seeing 99c sales, which were fairly common until 6 months ago. The last one on eBay was in November, and that was the only one in that month.

Never thought about that, but true, why did they choose 4?

Maybe simply because of 1 2 3 5 6 7 8 9 are all NOT available when they jumped into the business :(

BTW, you guys are right: 4 is the worst number for Chinese:lala:

"4" means "death" on Chinese... 4444.com = quadruple of deaths :lol:

4 = for
.CN = China

4.cn = For Chinese

most users at 4.cn are people speak native chinese. Thus when they see "4", it does not ring as "for", rather it is "death". So I would agree, out of all the 10 numbers, the selection of 4 is the worst.

4 = for
.CN = China

4.cn = For Chinese

:)

I've recently sold a couple of LLLL.coms at 4.cn

Most of them sold between 200-240 RMB (roughly $30-36) with a about 2-4 bids
One went as high as 600 RMB or so

All of mine were of moderate quality - not the killer cvcv variety or anything.

So if you're willing to take a chance and letting go of some of your LLLL.com with a $30 reserve then 4.cn is a good place to list them. There is a good chance of the domain getting a lot of bids (and a very good price) if it clicks/relates with chinese market in some way.

Seem like market for llll.com is better than lll.com now.

My sale for wuxu dot com last month also was on 4.cn . The customer support is very responsive and selling price is not bad. Chinese has more fund to invest and domain name might be an interesting choice for them because A-shares are very expensive right now.
