The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. Sedo rang up the seven biggest sales and claimed 11 places overall on our new all-extension Top 20 Sales Chart. .Coms dominated the action, sweeping 16 positions. Three ccTLDs also made the elite list along with one non .com gTLD (the biggest of the year in this category). You can get all of the details here:

Regarding businessideas.com.au this is one of mine, as yet it hasn't been paid for or transferred and the auction only finished 2 days ago. Netfleet doesn't have any escrow or transfer process so not sure they could really verify any aftermarket sale. All they do is provide the contact details of the winner (which really surprised me).

Serbia.com at $62,000 seems like a real bargain.

Thanks for the heads up on this Snoop. I have taken that sale down and will look into this right away.

Hang on, I'm a bit confused snoopy. I just spoke to the buyer and he said he spoke to you to sort out transfer and payment three days ago? He also confirmed that he made full payment yesterday - before your post.

Why would you deliberately suggest to ron the sale isn't legit when you knew full well at the time of posting that it was?

Or am I mistaken?

David, payment was received for this domain this morning via bank transfer and the name transfer has not been started.

If you "just spoke to the buyer" and you haven't spoke to me, why was this sales reported several days ago when you presumably hadn't spoken to anyone?

Secondly I'm not suggesting the sale isn't legit, I'm saying it isn't verified, the name hasn't been transferred and it hadn't been paid for when you reported it to dnjournal. The buyer and me are about to start the transfer process.

I'm assuming this is standard practice for you to report in this way, if so there will be other unverified sales submitted.

Lastly I posted here about this sale about an hour before getting an email from the buyer than he had submitted payment, but that doesn't have much to do with the issue anyway because as I see it the issue is submitting unverified sales to dnjournal that haven't been transferred or paid for.

:hi:

Please confirm and VERIFY only those fully completed domain name sales ... before submitting them as "reported sales" to the DNJ (and various other outlets for publishing "reported sales")! :yell:

Thank you,
Jeff B-)
