1. Eating better and smaller portions of everything.
2. Working out, mostly walking more.
I actually started my first New Year's resolution back in September and have lost about 30 pounds. Slow and steady as she goes. I have more to lose, but I figure that 3-5 pounds a month is best. If less than that, it's okay. I'm in this for life, not for some short-term goal.
No food is forbidden, but portions are small. I don't eat anything I don't like, even if it's "good for me." I find that eating food that nourishes both body and spirit works best for me and is sustainable.
I started the exercise part on 12/27, 3 days ago.
Domaining is such a sedentary activity, so I had to do something or turn into an immoveable Queen Bee.
