Lets make this the official thread for everyone who has bought into a certain host and their packages. Tell us why you decided on it, some of the pros and cons. A lot of people at NamePros trust the opinions of others rather than some random and sketchy article which boasts that some hosting company is better for whatever reason. So with that said, let us know! :tu:

One of my favorite webhosters is Dreamhost, because I can quickly add new accounts without having to create an user, password, etc for each one.

If anyone needs any discount coupon for most webhosting companies, do PM me and I'll help you.

So you do not keep all your eggs in the same basket. So that is good idea I think.

I am a user of Dot5Hosting.

They are an 'unlimited' host, but there are reasonable usage policys, like with any host. But with them you get:

Unlimited Disk / Bandwith
1 Free Domain
Unlimited domains allowed (supports IDNs)
Great support, 24/7 - never had an issue!
Unlimited email boxes
Unlimited FTP, Databases, Subdomains
vDeck CP (not CPanel but very similar)
$50 adwords, $25 yahoo credit, $50 fb adverts
PHP5, CGI, SSI, Ruby, Perl 5, Python
All the freebies - phpbb, oscommerce, carbonite backup
Domain pointing in vdeck
full php.ini and .htaccess access
scheduled jobs (cron)

$4.95pm if bought bi-annually.

My only issue is that its in the USA when I am based in the UK, yet it still does wonders for me.

Would only consider moving if I could get a UK host offering me the same value :p

First I used Dreamhost but after the sites grew bigger I moved most of my sites to Hostgator and closed my Dreamhost account. Now we are running on a dedicated server and small sites are still on Hostgator.

The technical support on Hostgator is superb!

I'm hosted with Google, cheap, reliable & scalable. Doesn't work out much more expensive than the vps I was on, but now Google take care of all the admin work, so I can concentrate on writing code.

I use hostgator and have been happy with them. I have several other sites at bluehost and again have been pleased. Added a dreamhost account and like them too.

have used a variety of lesser-known hosts, and haven't been as pleased.

And that's why you prefer contact them so often (from your previous post I understand that you call often)

Been hosting my websites on my own dedicated server running OpenVZ and SolusVM. On the dedicated server i've created a VPS with cPanel installed and that VPS host's my websites.

I like this setup because i am able to manage things better myself.

I use HostUpon since 3 months. I would like say about it, they are really good hosting provider.

Terrible experience at hostupon hosting!
After running websites for a year in 2 years plan, they have suspended my hosting.

Recently I just installed word press with graphpaprepress theme. It might be some resource intense add-on cause server load but they should contact me before suspending hosting with few add-on in it.

Got support ticket reply, they moved my hosting to cloud server. Waiting for changes take place.

Jack and Joe (formerly known as Fused Hosting) as I joined with them a few years ago and have had perfect support ever since.

In the past ive actually used HostingZoom for shared hosting and HiVelocity for dedicated server hosting. But recently ive been experimenting with Rackspace's cloud services. So far I find it affordable and of decent quality.

I host with dreamhost and lunarpages, both shared hosting and both just because they're cheap.

I can't use subdomains wildcards and I'm looking for another host.
