Anyone else registering 3D domains?

It seems that 3D is going to be the the next must have technology, according to the big brands, they are all launching 3D TVs.

I attempted to find good 3D names but the best domains are already taken, I think in 5 years time or even less, those generic 3D domains will be worth a lot. :imho:

Anyone else registering 3d domains? Do you think they have a future?

I have no doubt that 3D will prevail, however,97% or more of the names that have been posted on this thread will not. :gl:

Registrations must be improving. A couple of days ago the naysayers were saying 99.9%

Washingtonpost you make my day

The Truth About Old 3D
washingtonpost.com

"I suspect that some people in the movie and home theater businesses want this 1950s anaglyph myth to continue."

The thing that hits me: A week or two ago, a majority of people here where saying that 3D technology will be a flop (with low research on the potential & industry push!). Then, everyone is saying : 3D will be a hit, BUT maybe not ALL domain names! Do you really think people are dumb enough to think All 3D domain names will be profitable?
If I reg a Health domain: Does it mean I think that my domain will be 100% sure profitable? Not every time. I really think some people here are loosing theyre time trolling & 3D domain niche is an easy target. Not everyone is looking & buying 3DTV right now: like when HD came out at 2-3000$. And when the market will develop we will know a little bit better if it's a wave or a tsunami of profit.

ps: Two-Three weeks ago, we didn't even know what would be the 3D Keywords used by the industry: 3DHD, HD3D, 3DBlu-ray, Blu-ray3D, etc...

This thread is a disgrace to NP.

I have never read so much BS in one thread EVER.

One guy shouting his mouth off all over the show smoking his crack pipe - with a big fat zero value for a portfolio that he will sell for millions, one guy claiming in huge font that he "just got offered $42,000 for a 3d he regged probably yesterday but of course is turning down the offer, then you have more "first time posters" or "second posters" joining this thread than anything I have ever seen to date.

Then you have another guy with two posts who has been "domaining for 15 years" and in all that time never posted once on NP until this 3D thread.

This is my last post here - what a total crock of shxx

The first two guys you just have to take at face value. You know...I know....as well as every seasoned domainer here knows the probabilities of most of these 3d domain names selling for a good ROI if at all. Let these guys have their opinions as long as they don't break the rules.

As for the "1st and 2nd" time posters it is our obligation to lead them in the best direction through our debate and that is about all we can do for them.

As for the 4th guy :-/ who has been domaining for 15 years and just started posting.....how dare he. Seriously.... don't let these people turn you inside out. It's not worth it. There is much to learn in this thread regardless of the naievity of a few. It seems now that this thread is more on track with what it's purpose should be. Minus the pumping of course. :notme:

I tried to show with my 2 recent (first time) 3D "hand registrations" (3drecycling.com and 3damusements.com) that people are not really doing the research when they go and register non-meaningful 3-5+ word 3d domain names. Granted, mine do not fit the most ideal mold for a likelier future sale like the great ones registered already but if one slows down and keeps some sense they raise the odds of finding the best of the rest.

Please don't take offense everyone but thanks for coming down to earth a little and keeping with the subject and keeping the faith. This is a great 3d domain thread and discussion. Just try not to post your 3d names for sale in this thread is all.:tu:

looks like we are all guilty my friend!

Keep in mind the difference. I am not marketing my names in this thread just using them as a comparitive example of 3d names I've aquired. Sorry for any confusion.

This is why you will see YouTube and social Sites with 3D content
Will it be YouTube3D.com is the question..
When YouTube implemented HD, did they use YouTubeHD.com?
