Fusedhosting.net Down?? Please help!

Hello all,

It has come to my attention that all day today Fusedhosting has been down. All of my sites hosted with them are not working and I can't even access their site to make a support ticket.....


Furthermore, I don't have a backup of my sites, and I see that the company was recently sold to someone else, so I am REALLY concerned about this!

If anyone knows ANYTHING - PLEASE let me know.

That's a little comforting. I didn't get such an email so I wasn't aware of that.

Then again, it has been much longer than an hour right? Is your personal blog hosted with them? Are you at all concerned about it?

I got an email about the hour for maintenance, but it seems to have been down two or three times in the last 24 hours. Didn't know about the change of ownership.
Have been extremely happy with fused so far and am hoping that they will continue their excellent service.
Maybe a rep can inform us if there are any issues...

I have been extremely happy with fused up until last month. I started developing sites not too long ago and fused was my first host. Almost no downtime at all and a high quality support. A month ago, I started noticing downtimes. I made a support ticket - I got a reply about 5 days later... Don't get me wrong but chances are I'll be switching hosts after this. I never got the email...

I believe they need to inform all customers not just part of them about the expecting downtimes

He will not unless you invite him. I believe he can't monitor so big number of the forums at the same time

I'm also using fused hosting and they're down for more than 14 hours. I didn't received any mailing regarding the down time. I just wonder when the down time is over because I need to start my website tonight as i promised with my users.

UPDATES:

I Just rechecked. The server is up now.

Server working now..... Then again, that's not acceptable. I lost money today and I was never made aware of a downtime so that I could plan accordingly.

How can Fused claim:

# 99.9% server uptime
# 24/7 friendly support
?????

Quite frankly - I haven't seen either ever since it changed hands. 5 days to reply to a simple question through a support ticket is definitely no 24/7 and more than a day downtime is definitely not .1%

I don't know what to say... Anybody have any recommendations for a cheap, yet reliable, reseller hosting plan? Something like the way Fused used to be? I know that those two qualities almost never go hand by hand but you never know :)

Sorry folks, but it's time to move if that is the case. I'm not here to down a competitor, but I'm seeing that this host has new owners and it's supposed to be down for an hour but ends up being down for 14 hours? Have you attempted to contact them to see what exactly went on?

Neither I can upload files nor I can move them to other folders. Anyone facing this problem?

The new owners of Fused have come in recently, but I am positive that they will continue with the high quality service Fused Hosting has been providing for years. As I am no longer on the staff team, I cannot provide a reason behind the downtime but I can reassure all current customers that Fused Hosting will be continuing and your data is perfectly safe as the daily backups that Fused has provided our shared/reseller customers continues.

The have the resources and experience to take Fused further than Joe and I were able to as students.

FusedHosting.net has indeed changed ownership, due to myself and Jack (as well as other staff members) needing the time to focus on critical stages in our education. Me and Jack tried our very hardest to maintain the absolute best hosting service we could offer, and that was shown ten fold in our increase in sales and our fantastic reputation.

As I am sure you can understand due to contracts and legalities, my own (and Jack's) hands are tied. All I can say is the server is the same server as it was before.

Good luck and I hope you stay with Fused.

I tried setting up a new account with fused and still have not even received my cpanel info. The new customer support kept sending me my billing login info instead. As of yesterday I have not even received any more response from them.

Guess it's time to try and get a refund and move on to a new host.

Too bad.... I really liked Fused.

Thanks Jack and Joe for your posts.
I was always extremely happy with the excellent service you provided and wish you well with your future endeavours.

It would be a shame for the new owners to lose all the goodwill and great reputation that Jack and Joe built.
The issue for me is less that they are down AGAIN, and more an almost total lack of communication - no emails about the problem, other members reporting delayed responses and so on.

Personally, I don't yet want to switch hosts but I would like to see the issue fixed and better communication.

Such a pity when something good changes hands and "dies" like that...

If you do not agree with all downtimes and other things I suppose you need to act and change your web hosting company unless you like the pain. ;)

I share your frustration, but am hoping they will fix the problem quickly and communicate better in the future.
Every host can have problems but in my opinion the lack of communication is not acceptable.
I just emailed them...

With all due respect to Sibername and Crazytech, running down a competitor like this does not seem very professional IMHO, and does not make me likely to consider your services should I decide to change.
