Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

Van Damme, true, however since 2-3 months the quad prices are growing slowly but steadily.

I told you Olse was an amazing deal ($220), it just resold at Sedo for $968. I still see it going for MUCH more to an end-user..

Hey guys! It's been a while since I visited namepros.

Anyways... I got an offer on sedo for1in3.com and it's on auction now. Hoping for a bidding war, but I would be happy with the reserve too. Reserve is $2000 btw

I dont think end users take chances of letting the seller send their domain to auction.. what you think?

If the end-user is savvy and know the value of the domain in the open market, why not?

It's not up to the end user if it goes to auction or not. Usually an end user makes an offer, than the domain owner counters, the end user makes another offer (usually just a little bit higher) and than the domain owner can send to auction if he wants. Its happened to me various times and I usually regret sending it to auction since the end user is usually going to be the highest bidder so it's better counter offer most of the time.

lol Thanks Planoali, I know exactly how sedo process works however most of the times buyer/seller communicate & discuss "sending to auction" option as well and seller offers sending it to auction if buyer is not willing to raise his offered price!

please do correct me if I am wrong, however this is what I have experienced at Sedo.

That is the way it should be done...and I will from now:red: It seems very easy to send to auction, and there's always that feeling that you might get lucky. But in many cases there's not a wide end-user market for a name and you are unlikely to get what you could by negotiating. Worse, the end-user may be put off by the auction and simply not follow through on the original offer.

So, give the buyer a chance to raise the offer. If not, then let the marketplace decide which of you is right.
