Since RevenueDirect clients have been moved over into the Sedo parking platform on the 6th May, I thought I'd start a thread regarding this and any experiences or problems.

In the 'Welcome to Sedo' e-mail, they stated the following:

Exclusive Revenue Guarantee:

As a top parking client, we are happy to offer you an introductory, one month Revenue Guarantee. Through this guarantee, we can promise that your domains that were brought over to Sedo will earn you the same revenue as with RevenueDirect or more! Your account manager will provide you with complete details regarding your exclusive Revenue Guarantee.

My portfolio always earnt (much) more at RevenueDirect than at Sedo in the past, but lets see if they are going to be able to match it with the 'Exclusive Revenue Guarantee'.

I see that Sedo have included the basic 'Direct Blue' RevenueDirect lander into their template selections. I wonder if they are going to implement some the optimization settings that were great at RD - such as custom page colors, custom header, choice of 1 or 2 click landers etc. Perhaps someone from Sedo could let us know?

One problem I was expirencing was all my domains that were still forwarding to 'traffic.revenuedirect.com/?domain_name=domain.com' re-forwarded to 'http://sedoparking.com/search/registrar.php?domain=revenuedirect.com&registrar=sedopark' yesterday, which showed the Sedo 'lite' template with 'Revenuedirect.com' as the page header and irrelevant ads. Bizzarely though in my Sedo account, looking at the stats, the CTR was quite good and it seems some of my traffic was going to the right place. I've now forwarded to sedoparking.com/domain.com and now shows the correct landers and ads.

Anybody know what is going to happen to our April 15-30th earnings from RevenueDirect? Since the migration was May 6th and payment is usually on the 10th, how are we supposed to get our earnings now that the revenue direct website was taken down?

Hopefully a Sedo contact person can post here to clear things up.

I states in this FAQ: Revenue Direct FAQ - Sedo.com that "Any money you earned through RevenueDirect after their last payment to you will be added to your Sedo balance. This revenue will be paid at a later point following Sedo’s normal payment schedule after your payment limit (payment threshold) is reached. You will receive an additional email informing you about your transferred balance to Sedo. "

v5x I don't see any of my RD earnings in my Sedo account. Do you?

In fact, several of my domains from RD account show no "visitors" in my Sedo account when in fact they received thousands per day at RD. Is this happening to anyone else?

No I don't see the earnings in my Sedo account, I guess when Sedo feel like it, they'll add the earnings over from RD. It said in the FAQ that we should receive an e-mail letting us know when this happens....

Sedo

This sucks REvenue Direct always outperformed SEDO and looking at early stats I have lost 1/2 my revenue.

Pictures in templates are wrong. I have always had issues with sedo on this.

Key words are wrong

you suck Sedo

So far Sedopro is underperforming but with the revenue guarantee I'll wait a full month see if they can be tweaked and optimize for Sedopro. Any details on how the revenue guarantee works? Both e-mails said see the official rules attached with no attachment?

I contacted Sedo and this was their response:

Thanks for the email. We have transitioned your account to Sedo, and should not experience any service interruption. Please allow a few days for the systems to align, then we can make any necessary adjustments. Thanks for your patience.

I guess we shall see....

Ah.. Looking at it again. I think RD will pay us for 15th - 30th April earnings like normal (I have a 'generated' status at RD).

And as I understand it, Sedo will credit us for any money earnt AFTER the 30th. Eg. 1st - 6th May when they took over.

---------- Post added at 10:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:54 AM ----------

FYI - I managed to get hold of John Smrekar (General Manager of RD) at Sedo. I asked him about the revenue guarantee and if they Sedo are going to implement some of the optimization features we had a RD. Here's his reply:

There are currently no plans to add additional RD features to Sedo’s platform beyond what is already complete. However, the product development group is looking into what may be possible in the future. The guarantee will take into account what you were earnings just prior to the transition and ensure that they are on par for the first month at Sedo. If there is a difference you will be credited at the end of the period.

..So it looks like Sedo will make up any differences in earnings at the end of May. Not sure about what they'll do June though?

You can get hold of John at John.Smrekar [at] sedo.com

Good stuff thanks for the info. I also have a generated status on my RD account.

My payment is set to "Pending" but not yet paid. Usually payment would have been made by now. Has anyone been paid yet?

What sucks THE MOST in this RevenueDirect transition into Sedo is the loss of the bi-monthly payments imo! >:(

True words...if Sedo had any common sense they would listen to former RD customers such as yourself.

Got the RD payment today.

Anyone had any luck with the custom image upload at Sedo? Apparently it works with the direct blue template from RD.

I uploaded some images last week but they aren't available to me in the Sedo photo selection. I think Google has to review them first... not sure why... at RD custom images were available instantly.

The image upload feature is next to the template photo selection button: http://v5x.net/image_upload.jpg

I've not been able to use a custom image yet either, I submitted some images directly to my rep and was told

This is a feature that is relatively new to Sedo. What happens is once the picture is uploaded it is submitted to our advertising provider for review and acceptance. At this time we cannot provide an exact time frame, however if the picture is approved it will automatically be included in your picture choices.

Hopefully we will see some custom pictures soon

Thanks for the info - The image upload page is asking me for a password now, but my Sedo user/pass doesn't work.. I guess it's all in beta still or something.

lol...was a bit slow in moving all my sites after the Sedo transition, and racked up a few days worth of clicks on Sedo. The RPM is telling. On RD I was getting an average RPM of $105, on Sedo (after conversion to $'s) $13.41.

Anyone receive payment for 1st 5.5 days of May from RD? The amount owing isn't showing in my Sedo account, and would have expected payment by today, allowing for the public holiday.

Sedo pay out on the 15th of the Month. They stated in the RD/Sedo FAQ that they will add the earnings over from RD to our Sedo accounts for the last few days of May.
