This is revenue after update

I'm seeing .01 clicks on a cancer related domain! I had .01 clicks on a porn name even after finalized numbers yesterday.

Parked is seriously messed up with this out of control bot situation.

While removing bots, it appears a lot of real revenue is also removed from the stats.

My final revenue todays is almost 40% less than the revenue before the bots hit my account yesterday at about 8 PM and 65% less than the revenue including bots.

How is that even possible?

Parked need to take care of this bot problems ASAP, its making us lose real revenue big-time. I have no doubt about it as I kept track yesterday.

I am afraid same will happen again tomorrow because there are bot hits again today.

I don't mind losing bots, its understood but again I think we are losing real revenue while bot revenue is cleared.

Donny, my friend please do something....it is "extremely" frustrating.

Is this bot thing something that parked need to control or yahoo?

PS: Please redo my stats for yesterday and you will know what I am talking about. You can check in this thread that I hardly complain about revenue updates but revenue today just does not add up at all after this bot clear up...it is seriously underestimated imo.

Seems like revenue drops are not limited to parked only.

Are these domains foreign traffic that everyone is complaining on or a mix of foreign and USA traffic???

Is not having the ask feed this detrimental to the overall stats on alot of the domains??

I personally am not having any clicks less than a penny although my traffic with no arbitrage is nominal at best at the moment.

May I suggest anyone complaining of loss $$$ to state where there traffic is coming from whether its foreign or not and even what countries when it comes to 1 c or less clicks.

I know parked and Donny want traffic monetized as much as it can get so have patience while their other feeds start kicking in to monetize the foreign traffic

Most of this is above my head. Majority of my traffic is usually USA based although recently I'm getting traffic from France, Italy, Spain, and Korea. Might be because foreign countries often type in .US for United States.

Yes, as I know from my own experience...Patience is always the key to success...even when things don't seem that "peachy" at the moment!

rickkumar - We did take care of the bot problem. Have you seen any additional "bots" in the past 12 hours or so? We were only talking about a small number of clicks each day, it was easy to detect on the backend, just not on the front end. But we have that resolved for now. So if you are still seeing anything new, please let me know.

Let me just say that we have blocked over 1,000 bots today but I don't want to give out too much information. But we can better detect bots on the front end now than we could before.

Today I'm very happy to see Hillary making a comeback especially after seeing some of the US Media being so biased against her in the last few weeks. Why is the US media so anti Hillary?

I have not seen any more bots after noon time today. It just frustrates to see these bots ruin a good day otherwise like yesterday and this morning :imho:

I just sent an inquiry to parked.com about gmail email

Gmail is all I have and faced the same prejudice against gmail at Sedo but Sedo offers a manual sign-up if you prove who you are.

Maybe parked.com will offer a solution for us anti-MSFT types.

NTW Web - We allow gmail.

But how does Sedo require you to prove who you are? Do you have to send them a DNA sample?

good financial indian domains that were making $0.12 - $0.25 a click are making now $0.01 - is this typical? should we look for another place for .in domain?

I'm impressed with your attentiveness, I just joined parked.com and submitted 20 domains Donny My guess is that I won't be waiting 3 days for approval.

So as you can see from my signature, most of my domains look like phone numbers and begin with a 1- Our portfolio has about 200 dot coms and about 200 dot mobis

My questions are:

Will domains with a hyphen do well parked?
Example: 1-vegas.com, 1-pizza.com

Are dot mobi domains returning any money from parking?

I closed up way, way higher than normal yesterday. Strange, after having started off with three bad days in March.

This yo-yo effect makes me think that there is just some temporary "seasickness" as there always is every time that Yahoo makes changes. I just hope these are all the changes for a while..

FWIW - this is my strategy:

I had a great run at Parked for many months, but on March 3rd I moved 99% of my Indian domains away. I've kept a couple of names there as a bellwether. Whenever the RPC returns towards its previous level, I'll bring the rest of the domains back.

I love Parked, but from a business perspective, can't put up with an RPC thats $0.01 or $0.00.

What parking company did you move your Indian domain to?

banner day for me yesterday ... $17.00 (don't laugh). It's my highest since the end of the big Arb.

All clicks went to .in and .info domains (as usual for me).

My final stats are again way low as compared to what they should have been based on the real revenues. Its all due to bots mess up. Funny thing is not only revenue is down but last 2 days revenue is same

No bots so far today, lets see what happens tomorrow!
