The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I like Parked. I have a ragtaggle of names there but overall I get good results comparing to DomainSponsor. as with all parking services, not all names are better. I don't have any opinion about which does best.

parked.com is good for well-targeted names, especially american traffic. it's quite hard to get a 1-click lander, but if you do, it often pays well. if a domain gets >100% clickthrough, parked rocks, cause they pay for all clicks. i have one name that usually gets like 4 or 5 clicks per visitor, at $.32 each.

i'm convinced that if they gave me a 1-click lander for rides.org it would do well at parked, but since that doesn't seem to be happening i have it at nd and its earnings are way up. it really depends on the name.

Thanks guys...I'm actually with Parked.com for many of my domains also..Donny is 1st class service and overall my names are doing great so far...I just wanted to get an overall idea of how other domainers are faring with their service...especially that I don't hear too much about it on this forum. ;)

Parked rocks for some of my .ca portfolio. They pay very well for US and Canadian traffic, and of course unlike some other parking companies they actually pay you for multiple clicks on your domain from the same user! Adult domains really take advantage of this at times.

Yeh I like parked, I like the way they hang around the forums a lot and instead of just brushing off our ideas, actually put them into practice!

Good Job Donny!

I really like Parked, but have a question - why does the amount in my account keep changing...there will be a lull in the activity and there will be no users for a small time, and when I go back to check, the value in my account has gone down - are they reviewing traffic for inappropriate clickthroughs, or what? never cared before, but since we're on the topic ... :)

I'm sure Donny will explain this much better than me ;)
It's basically a matter of estimated clicks vs actual clicks, right Donny?

I would love to see some new landers at parked, I am not that fond of the pages... But, they pay the best, I find... I seem to get less clicks but the ppc makes up for it... I had a click the other day on a page that had to do with insurance and I got $4.06! That made my day....

I agree...if PARKED could get the tech guys from Trafficz, ParkingPanel, or NameDrive to come up with some nice new landers that would imho raise revenue even more!

First, all stats that are for today are an estimate. Tomorrow when our providers give us their final numbers we will combine our estimate and their numbers and come up with our final stats for the day. Our estimates include all hits, clicks, etc... Our providers may not always count everything though for many reasons.

Landers/Templates/Layouts have nothing to do with tech guys, it's all desginers. You ever seen a tech guy design a site before? We suck. :) We currenly have right over 4800 image combinations in our system and trying to come up with some way to actually get all of our previous work to still exist with additional landers is a little tricky. But they are coming, and maybe before you know it.

Time to get back to work.

I tried Parked and NameDrive for two months and I like NameDrive much better.
I couldnt get 1-click lander for most of my domains, and I made more with NameDrive.
I love NameDrive landers and the Sell/Contact option.

Great info, thanks! Can't wait to see the new landers! I am slowly moving more domains over to parked, I have a few that really need the graphical content so those will have to wait... Otherwise I am really pleased with parked in general, especially compared to some other parking companies...

I can honestly say that overall PARKED.com is the BEST Parking company out there right now.
...
Now if Donny and the TECH guys (not designers ;)) can also do something about improving SEO techniques for Parked.com sites to show up better in search engines.

yep - I agree. I'm a graphic artist / web developer by trade, and frankly would LOVE to get into developing the front end to a parking system!! Everytime I hit a crappy landing page I can't help but think how I would do it differently, but you also don't want to wander too far away from what works. Parked has got it down more than any service I've seen so far, and has accounted for domain categories I hadn't even thought of, which is really cool. It must be tough to build out fully optimized landing pages that will suffice for any situation thrown at it.

The cognitive intent of the direct nav surfer is the ultimate decider and choosing a domain with their perceived intention in mind requires a landing page that furthers that intention. There are a couple of situations where the domain name, and the category layout with the underlying keyword-generated links begin to fight with each other, and some domains just won't work parked at Parked. No platform will support and optimize 100% of direct nav or accidental traffic. I've learned which domains which WILL work in concert with the formula at Parked, and I've gotta say, it's most of them!

Hell, half the fun of grabbing a domain and pointing it at Parked is seeing what template there is that will work with it :)

Eh, my two cents.

PS I appreciate the fact that it takes a day to resolve CTR estimates, but why not just report the actual data? and how come it never goes up? :)

My actual revenue does indeed go up somedays compared to the estimates

You know you have too many templates when I just approved these this morning.

Derailleur - some bike thingy.
American Fuzzy Lop Rabbit
True Love
Animal Print Rugs
Swim Camp

And another 250 additional ones. Our designers have been very busy lately.

Maybe I should have a design new landers contest. I'll have to think about this one.
