How does it automatically tell a positive or negative post?

It's not automatic. Any user can rate any post by clicking the [Rate] button on the left. For every rating, the poster either gains or loses a point.

i would suggest that you guys make the link to the chat room more visible for easier access, and to eliminate having to login there.

i also would suggest weekly chats at a certain time, so we all can communicate together.
