GoDaddy Closeout Domains not showing in my GoDaddy-account

It seems there is a bug at GoDaddy since a few days.
Domains recently bought at GoDaddy-Closeout are not showing up in my account.

The domains are missing in my GoDaddy-account.


Anyone else seeing this issue ?

Usually domains purchased from closeout will not be received immediately .

Frst, from bidding list scroll down and choose Won , you will get the list of domains you purchased from closeout and which date it will arrive in your account .

if you didnt find it at Won just contact godaddy chat support and inform them the issue , they will check and add the domanis . ( it happened with me once before ) .

That's an understatement.

I purchased a closeout domain on 3/19 and the "Won" status says it will be ready on 4/20. The domain has been at Godaddy all along, so I don't understand the month-long wait.

i recognized if the domain purchased was registered at different registrar than godaddy , then godaddy will add longer enugh time at "won" status , maybe just in case any transfer issues or delayment occurred from the other registrar , and to avoid buyer nagging .
But usually they deliver the domain earlier than the date mentioned at "won" status .

DM me the details and I'll double-check. It's likely that they haven't been delivered to you yet.

But usually they deliver the domain earlier than the date mentioned at "won" status .

I agree, in fact mine was delivered just today. I still don't know why it has to be such a mystery, always.

I know that it takes a few days for GoDaddy to deliver the domain into my GoDaddy-account.
I did receive a "confirmation E-mail" from GoDaddy that the transaction for a specific domain I purchased at GD-Closeout was successful and that the domain is available in my account.

Since a few days it seems there is an Error.
There are 3 domains missing in my account, although I did receive the "confirmation E-mail" that the domains are available in my GD-account.

Godaddy closeouts have taken 15+ days before to hit my account. It is never immediate.

same on my end, received confirmation email : " This message is to inform you that the transaction is complete for: domain name xyz" and then when I want to change nameservers domain is not found in the account. First time happens with me though.

Same thing happened to me. Today a rep checked it and said that their system has accidentally sent emails about transactions being complete before they actually were. In my case, he said that the domain will be delivered tomorrow.

thanks for this update @SuperBrander , I assume your rep is not James :xf.wink: I wanted to ask how this usually works ( I guess you have separate Afternic rep also) they reach out after you have certain amount of domains/perhaps sales with them and offer the support, or this is something that you could possibly request. I mean I have a premium account with them ( more than 1200 names ) but I have never been approached by a rep, on the contrary at Afternic I have already (y)

@freety85 I think my rep was actually out of the office today, so somebody else looked into it. You can definitely get a rep. You just need to ask. Michael Cyger wrote last year that people who have more than a certain number of domains (I don't exactly remember the number) could contact him and he would help hook them up with a rep. So that's what I did (I have less domains than you). I don't know if Michael still does that these days but James can probably help you get a rep or tell you what to do in order to get one..

Having a monopoly and being one of our biggest competitors, nothing wrong.
They want us distracted and all our statistics.
To bad Dan didnt buy Godaddy

Glad it was resolved! Going forward there shouldn't be any issues. I'm always around if needed though :)
