Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some feedback on my personal portfolio website, https://www.hamzasiyam.com/.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few moments to browse my website and provide me with some constructive criticism, suggestions, or any ideas that you think could help me improve it.

Your honest feedback would be greatly appreciated, and I'm open to any suggestions you may have. Please feel free to leave your comments, feedback, or suggestions in the comments section below.

Best Regards, Hamza Siyam

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Pros: fast navigation, load normal.
Cons: load can be faster, back and white design and less animation don't tend to keep users for long to see the content.

Good luck man

Thank you for your feedback.
Your suggestions are duly noted, and I will certainly strive to make the changes to enhance user experience.

Just being totally honest, the design is horrible. If you are promoting web design services and this is your forward client facing website, it won't lead to any meaningful sales. If I saw this, I would move on without clicking or scrolling anywhere.

Can you explain why?

Nice work, man! I would change the font. I personally like bubbly fonts, just more inviting to the user in my opinion. Also the black and white color scheme should be altered to something more... vibrant, if you will.

Mmmm... not so sure, like at all...

First - what is the main message? Who am I? What are my business projects? Domain portfolio business card? Unclear - none of the ideas is readable right away. It really has to be a strong accent on something.

Second - design itself. Black font is terrible. Probably someone said that it's solid and looks cool, but it does not not hold eyes for long.
Other things - ''domain names'' page - huge disproportion between right and left columns (logos and names itself). Left one is not visually appealing, the right is unnecessarily huge.

I think the main question to answer is - what is the goal here? What do I sell? Then it will get easier, once you strongly emphasize one thing and put the rest as a supportive info.

Thanks for the advice I'll keep it mind for my next revision

All that stuff on the bottom left needs to go. It's a distraction and unnecessary.

Who is Hamza and why would I need Hamza?
I needed time to understand what kind of site is it, what services you offer, and what was going on there.
But I patiently tried to navigate and understand because you asked for a review.
But being just a random visitor, I would not be so patient and understanding and would close the site.

Overall I'd say it looks good, unique and easy on the eyes.

Well done.

Years ago, a very successful web builder/designer taught me the following. I find it still holds true today. I hope this helps you a bit.

1. You build a website for your customers, not you. Who is your target audience?

2. Form follows function. Navigation should be intuitive, so the customer finds what they are looking for, don't make your customer "work" to find something.

3. You have 3-6 seconds to grab a visitor's attention and KEEP them on your website. Once they leave, they usually never come back. (Bounce rate)

4. Not everyone has perfect eyesight and your design needs to be clean and easy to follow, that includes colors, formatting, layout, fonts...etc. Faint gray text is difficult to read. No tiny fonts!

5. Colors evoke feelings in our mind... the right color palette can create trust and increase engagement from your visitors. What do you want your customers to "feel" when they land on your website? Color speaks without words.

6. Tell them who you are and what you can do to help them...

7. Proof read your writings, ensure that people understand your message. Get someone else to read your "stuff" who will be blunt about the good and bad.

8. You have a lot of wasted "real estate" on your web pages. Clean and organized is better that fancy and huge, people will get lost looking for something.

Wishing you great success!
