Howdy,
I have a meagre portfolio of 30 domains (gotta start somewhere, right?!)
Given the small portfolio and my appetite to learn by getting my hands dirty, I'm not opting for Buy It Now price, only for Minimum Offers, so that I can see every offer that comes through and negotiate, to start to get a feel for what is popular and the various buyer psyches.

I have listed my domains on all three domain marketplaces, Sedo, Dan and Godaddy/Afternic.

My question is, do they all manage the 'Minimum Offer' the same way? Dan seems to only have BIN and Minimum Offer fields, Afternic has 3 fields (Floor Price is the additional), and Sedo only has one price field with BIN/Make Offer toggle. How do I ensure I see ever offer that comes through, regardless of platform. The last thing I want is for a broker or trigger to automatically sell my domains at their Minimum Offer threshold of $100....!

Hi

best answer,
make sure your email address for each platform is correct.

currently, i have offer on a BIN @ sedo, and can respond by changing price or accepting current bid.

the notice came via email and such notices would be similar for other platforms as well.

only way it will get sold, is if buyer pays the BIN price or you accept an offer.

imo...

Rethinking my Sedo Buy Nows - if buyer likes a domain but has different value in mind ... they have 2 choices to BIN or move on!

Hi

actually, a potential buyer has 3 options:
they can BIN, they can submit an offer or walk away.

i had a BIN sale last year at sedo, where buyer submited an offer lower than BIN price.
since the offer was worthy of responding to, i lowered the BIN price to encourage them to increase their bid.
they purchased the domain at the new BIN and commission was still 10%.

imo...

You need to change the drop down menu to 'sales settings' where you will see two price fields. One for the BIN price and the other for the Min offer price. Also in the account settings, you have to enable the option to show make offer option on BIN landing pages.
