I Registered A Domain Name Called Smart-ai.xyz And I Asked About My Domain To Chatgpt
Heres What Ive Found

Chat-gpt:-

Smart-ai.xyz is a good domain name

As an AI language model, I cannot make subjective judgments or provide personal opinions. However, I can provide you with some general information that might help you make an informed decision.

The domain name "smart-ai.xyz" contains the words "smart" and "AI," which are relevant and related to artificial intelligence. The ".xyz" top-level domain (TLD) is a newer TLD that has been gaining popularity in recent years, but it is less commonly used than the more traditional TLDs like .com, .org, or .net.

Whether or not "smart-ai.xyz" is a good domain name ultimately depends on your specific needs and goals. It might be a good fit if you are looking for a short and memorable domain name that is related to artificial intelligence. However, it is important to keep in mind that some people might not be familiar with the .xyz TLD and could potentially find it less trustworthy than more established TLDs.

Ultimately, the success of a domain name depends on a variety of factors, such as the quality of the website, the content, the marketing, and many other variables.

Well, that was underwhelming. So generic and lifeless was the answer. Just a whole lot of nothing.

Yep. The answer should have been: "reg fee".

That's reg fee for me because of the hyphen combined with .xyz. ChatGPT didn't say anything about the hyphen, oddly enough.

But hey, you could find someone who likes it for a good price. But you may be waiting a while.

Sarcasm aside, Chat GPT is a fun chatbot, but don't base your business decisions on it

Right. But you brought up something interesting. That disclaimer is something we should all get used to.

The chances for a very good quality domain name to sell for end user pricing are very low (1% to 2% per year, on average).

This name is well below good quality, so your chances of selling above reg fee are much lower.

Best approach would be to list the name in the low $XXX range for 6-9 months. If it doesn't sell in that time (and you don't plan to renew it), lower the price drastically and see if you can recoup the reg fee.

I would personally not renew this name, but you need to be the one to make that choice based on your own research.

This forum is a great source of information, but you need to put in the time to read through the threads and inform yourself. Don't look for quick answers and opinions on your names if you haven't done any leg-work yourself.
