I actually just started up again. I was in some Beta a couple of years ago where I could list the domains myself right at NameJet, then was away, came back and it was gone. So had to sign the contract again and now it looks like you do it yourself again thru the Network Solutions account connected to NameJet. So first you need to do all that.

It’s a reseller market mostly, so if you’re putting your better names there, use the reserve. Yes, I think they can send the money anywhere.

So I list some domains there every month for auction, then Dan, Afternic, GoDaddy, Sedo

Which platform was more successful for you out of all these?

All my sales come direct thru Dan landing pages, Afternic or GoDaddy. Dan and GoDaddy pretty even, some Afternic but only had about 10% of my names priced. Now, they’re all priced this year so Afternic sales should go up

Sedo is pretty dead for me, just have them at make offer and adding the text file is a pain

NameJet will have a better idea this year since I’m active again. Haven’t had listings up in almost 2 years

Under what scenarios do you think landing page helps?
Right now I have listed all my domains on these markets, but have not setup landing page on any of them.

Is that recommended? Will that,
1. help the buyers in finding the domain ?
or
2. help the buyer in easily place the buy order?

Any scenario in which somebody gets to your domain, directly, via old links etc, instead of finding it on a marketplace. I have had mine at Dan since they look nice, my domains are priced with Lease to Own enabled which helps closes sales. A landing page that’s easy for a buyer to understand, trustworthy, good support, you want the buying process as smooth as possible

Hi. JB Lions
Thank you for your experience

If I have a domain name with another registrar
I would like to put it up for sale with NameJet.
Do I need to transfer to networksolutions registrar?

The NameJet website seems to be very slow to open.
This is confusing

Also is snapnames similar?
Are they worth selling some domains at reseller prices?

All mine are at GoDaddy, you only transfer them over to network solutions if it sells

Well, this seems a bit complicated
I don't want to move to network solutions

Think of it like this, anytime you sell a domain you’re going to have to push/transfer it regardless of where you sell it at. Same thing here, if you sell a domain you put up for action, you transfer it

Yes.
But transferring .com to them costs $26
of which 9.9$ is a service fee
