Best Sedo lander

Hello everyone!

I have a question about Sedo landers!

I use DAN landers for a long time and I like them but want to try Sedo landers for my non .com domains

On sedo is many options (versions)

I would like to sell with Buy it now and Best offer option!

I tryed them one by one but can't see a lander where Fixed Price is the main option for purchase! I see Best Offer and fixed price under Best Offer option!

Which lander version should I choose?

Also interested which lander version work better for you!!!

Any information will be helpful!

For fixed price, option, on the sales view of your portfolio, you can obtain it by putting the same price in the buy now and make offer columns. It appeared that you have to have your account settings set to not allow offers as well on your BIN domains.

It's very important that you make certain that you do not have the BIN and "make offer" on the lander--if you don't want to have to pay the 15% commission.

As for success using one or another, I truly am uncertain, since I really gave them a try for months, and had only one small "make offer" sale through a lander. Perhaps some other folks can chime in on that.

Thank you! I want my lander to look the same but in my lander I see Make Offer - the main option!

I set up Buy now price and best offer option but lander show Make Offer instead Buy it Now!

Buy it now option is under Best Offer in my lander

is that the offer option with the 15% commission?
BIN = 10%

I don't know why it has the make offer option when all my domains are BIN only - as when you click submit offer on the lander the min offer is the BIN price I've set.....Odd and possibly slightly annoying / confusing for people

@Sedo ?

I found that you had to put the same price in for the offer as well as the BIN, using the sales view selection.
Then adding the My account settings, to eliminate the accept offer feature for BIN pricing.

It's an easy mistake to make, thinking that you have a 10% commission, but actually having it at 15%. If your lander isn't BUY Now only, or BUY now with Best Offer, you are not getting a 10% commission.

and if someone buys it through the marketplace you are paying 15% anyway, no matter how you have the lander setup. and 20% if sold through mls.

So, it's unlikely that you would get the 10% commission anyhow? Sedo hopefully would act in good faith, to see if someone used the lander first, and then completed the sale using the marketplace. Butly that might be hard to track,

This is where you can setup the "Best Offer" option.

Sedo -> MyAccount -> Account Settings

Note: For it to work, you'll need to change all your listings to Buy Now only.

Wouldn't it be of benefit for Sedo to make this simpler for their sellers? This issue about the lander confusion was raised earlier this month. Thanks for the clear instructions above, to be able to get the "Best Offer" added, if wanted.

At a minimum, I'd love to see Sedo provide explicit directions on getting the "Buy Now" lander done. It's not clear how much more useful it is to have the "best offer" vs. simply the "buy now. Having written instructions for this as well would make sense. There is a video to help doing the parked page, but I don't think that's as useful as direct, explicit written step-by-step directions.

I never chose that option so had to untick the box

Bit naughty - I had the min offer and BIN set the same, assuming the 10% was was activated but Sedo seem to have the box ticked as default meaning you have to untick it

The simple solution would be a menu for the parking lander, where you click whether you want BIN, BIN with Best Offer, or BIN and Make offer. Hopefully Sedo can tweak that---and ultimately save quite a bit of confusion.

Thank you for your feedback - we understand that this process could be simplified and will pass it on and take it into account for the next round of updates.
For now, you might find it helpful to read a post on Buy Now or Best offer, which at least gives a brief description of how to enable this setting:

https://sedo.com/us/about-us/news-press/newsroom/cant-decide-between-buy-now-or-make-offer/
This also meets the description of @411domains post above.

Thanks for trying out the Sedo sales lander and wishing you success with selling your domains!

Cheers Frank,

Hope your well, long time, no see......

I've double checked my account settings, all landers are set to BIN with no make offer, I'm not not using Sedo Parking and have not manually set up any redirects - Sedo have created the URL as you have shown......It says "sales lander"

So....I should be eligible for the 10% rate?.....

Hi Nick,
good to see you well

I highly doubt it.

ok, I don't like it, but when you think about it
how could they know, it's your domain traffic?
( I mean w/o effort - they are lazy in tracking, I guess )

so only using their nameservers has a chance to result in 10% as far as I understand it
(but only if Ionos is not the buyer [same holding as sedo]
or other distributors)

me using the redirect has always got me 15% or more

As an update, have you had any success so far with the Sedo landers that you ultimately chose? Or did you decide on a different marketplace lander instead?

Hi, I was checking helog.com and I see that Sedo.com offers only two payment methods:

Alipay and Bank Transfer.

I guess this is gonna kills our sales!

What do you think about it?

Why don't they offer PayPal, GooglePay and Stripe?
