Do you have the similar situation?
I did not do any changes with my domains parking in Bodis, but the revenue seems dropping too much.
Ps, I have 2 accounts there.

similar situation in the long term, the epc drops more significantly in the last week.

Same here. EPC getting laughably low. Same domains, same traffic, same CTR, just 1/6 of revenue compared to one year ago.

It was getting extremely low. I switched to almost all straight sales landers for a while, but did recently go back. The EPC is very much diminished lately for the one domain I did kept going with parking consistently.

Has anyone had more success? There is someone on a different thread who is having a great time with high EPC, but this seems to be a rarity overall. Is this a global decline in revenue?

can anyone compare it after trying it with above (parkingcrew bodis maximizer) ? did it increase epc ?

I have a name with 200-300 clicks/day only making ~$10 at bodis so I switched to parkingcrew to see if they can do better with the traffic.

Also curious about Above performance...

Drop in Q1 ad revenue is a typical occurrence in the digital marketing space.

A lot of companies reduce their ad spend in the first quarter. Reach out to people who operate content platforms monetized with ads, you'll get a similar story.

It's not unique to bodis.

Hi

last month was pretty good @bodis, as a couple of names reached 70% CTR

and it's only 9 days into the new year, so i wouldn't be too worried.

imo...

I use both PC and Bodis and both seem to have had a slight reduction. Parking is nothing like it used to be in the 'old' days...giggle is the one to blame, not parking companies.

I reached the max EPC ($0.37) on May 2022, then a continuous decrease.
Minimum on Oct 2002 ($0.23).
Now it's increasing and it's around the average of the last 2 years ($0.27).
However the problem is the market, not Bodis. Specular trend on Sedo.
Better to look at EPC than CTR for a reliable statistic.

Thank you so much.
Just curious about this, not blame Bodis.
Hope it will be better in the near future.

High inflation right now leads to price increases even for advertising.
Domain price, on the other hand, is regulated and we have already had a recent increase for .com.
So I think the trend will be to our advantage for the next months.

same here...half drop or more... it's almost not worth anymore.. bodis openly admit via support email that bug drop occured... due to.global situation.. which makes sense... same for domain sales etc... they also say soon implement some new keyword optimizing so expect more...but I doubt I'll be hitting my 150 to 200 month averages from last 2 or 3 years... it was like 50 to 70 last few months.. well if it becomes not worth anymore then we all go straight to lander I guess and bodis loses 80percent domains and stops exisiting

I stopped using parking a few months back and went straight to landers. I was thinking about switching some names back to parking... but between the drop in revenue and the upcoming 25% GoDaddy penalty, I'm just not sure.

It can be related to the last G core update related to spam links.
They started 5.12, then 14.12, then stopped it for holidays and then started again...
I have no idea what these idiots are doing, but my sites' traffic jumps up and down, and not only mine ones..
I think they did something wrong in December and in January are trying to fix it...
I think all these up and down will continue during all of January..
The idea was stupid because they can't rank the site without ranking all sites which make reference to this site, and then they must check all sites which make reference to all those sites... etc etc etc..
All your clicks and CPC must be related to this issue.

I only use Bodis for domains that have performed well or relatively well in the last year.

things getting ridiculous...I'm starting to hit epc of 2cent and even 1cent on bodis for few days... same names and clicks that used to fetch 10 and 20 cent epc avg.... complete insanity or bodis trying meet their own margins by lowering everyone else... well guess what .. we will never know

it depends on the name, some domains have 4$ epc, some significantly lower.

This will be my plan from here going forward. I'm done with parking.

Smart man! Going for those sales landers!

Ad-blocking is prevalent, and the ad industry appears to have suffered as a result.

Most of my domains now have been moved elsewhere, sadly. There had been hope, especially with the supposed Bodis maximization tools coming into play. At least right now, those additional tools appear to have made little change in revenue.

Good luck with the sales! Hopefully the economy and parking will improve eventually, and you can return to doing both sales and ad-revenue then.

i don't think to be the only one having something like this...
i'm sure many serious parking players are not writing here.

2022 had been my best year in parking. Dec 2022 is the second best month for 2022, first is Nov.
January 2023 not started bad.. i just have few days really bad but i think it's normal with the holidays season to stop in the western side of the world.
I'm happy to beat my record year that was 2021 with a massive revenues explosion in q4.
This year had been a solid year with just a flection around the summer for me.

What is hard for me is finding people selling their portfolios or part... at a reasonable price (a bit over current marketprice).
I've tried to pay more for some domains but they exploded before i could get back at least 50% of the price paid so if I got offered revenues names at an insane price, i just reject them as the change to get losers is very high.

Buying traffic names from NJ,Godaddy is kinda a nightmare now.. prices are so inflated.
However is still possible to find deals for sure but a serious system is needed to catch names before other sharks
