Hi y'all. Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm and healthy.

Looking for some opinions on this brandable domain name: califoodia.com.

What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, sounds a bit strange, like an encyclopedia for California cuisine but kinda weird.

Reg fee.

Too awkward IMO
That's fair.

But how "awkward" does a domain have to be to fail the viability test, tho? Looks like there is a lot of "awkward" domains out there, but which have pretty much become a part of our lexicon due to use and marketing. Like Binance, for eg, or crypto currency, or namebio, or Facebook, or Instagram, or Pinterest, or WhatsApp, etc.

I was thinking this could be used for a Californian restaurant (franchisable within/out of the state), featuring unique Cali menus (native or nativized, mixed and mashed, salted and spiced, lol), or a California grocery wholesaler, with delivery semis and all, or a retailer even.

At least that was what I was thinking. But judging by the responses to this thread, looks like I been the only one thinking about this, eh?!

Interesting...

Well, if you think it sounds good, go for it..it just sounds strange to my ear because "food" is not a good replacement for "forn".

Binance is still terrible.
