It happened on 23rd Aug 2022 and this matter lasted almost one month without any process. Masterbucks.com declined my fund withdrawal and disabled the button of fund withdrawal. And I contacted Epik.com and got no further action even if Rob Monster got involved in it for two weeks. All the time I was told in email by management review.

What is wrong with Epik.com? Do you think it is normal to disable fund withdrawal? How can I get back my fund from Epik.com? Thanks for your suggestion.

Best of luck! Hopefully the AG office gets back to you soon as well. They will investigate no doubt. They did for me for a small $1k a car dealership claimed was non-refundable. Car dealership coughed it up right away and then the AG investigated them for further misconduct.

All I know is I would hate to have paid for an Epik "forever" registration right now.

The situation that is happening now is exactly what I pointed to as a potential issue when they were marketing those. You are not paying for anything other than a promise to keep renewing them, in perpetuity, for an unknown price.

If Epik is unable to pay existing customer debts, how much of a priority do you think those "forever" registrations are going to be? Epik already collected all the money upfront.

I talked about this a bit on my podcast today, but to suggest that Epik paid it out by putting the money at Masterbucks strains credulity.

Note that Kalaf began her transaction after Masterbucks went “down for maintenance.” So the company knew it didn’t have the money available to pay existing customers, but still accepted her transaction and the buyer’s cash, ostensibly to pay off other creditors and put her in the back of the line.

I don't think Andrew initially realized how deep the problems at Epik went, or that they were still taking in new escrow business and leaving customers with a Masterbucks balance that can't be withdrawn.

I suspect much of it got blown or hidden in crypto. The nice thing about about crypto, from a forensics point of view at least, is that ALL transactions are stored in the blockchain and public and they can't be hidden after the fact so it doesn't hurt my investigation to state my plans publicly.

User in the thread said masterbucks was the escrow for the BTC. I have some time tonight to do some chain analysis.

Edit: Seems they used Coinbase commerce and thus there is no cold wallet that can be tracked directly to masterbucks.

I have no idea where the money went in this case, but this is something I have pointed out to others in the crypto field in the past. It is not as anonymous as people seem to think.

The blockchain actually provides an invaluable tool for investigators. Once they can tie you to an account it is not all that hard to follow the chain.

These actions are essentially permanently recorded.
If you did something shady years ago, that activity is still on the blockchain.

Activity on the blockchain has lead to many investigations, arrests, and convictions.

Thanks. That seems to be a small one. There's a good chance they were rotating addresses but all roads eventually lead to the source. If you come up with any more addresses or find any on that branch that lead to big accounts or known addresses please let me know.

Yeah, I noticed I had an epicbucks account stored in my password manager. I need addresses to confirm some things. Please let me know any addresses used with Epik, rob or any of them, ever. Reach out to others and ask them. I have already ID'ed some huge transactions right when all of this started and the investors demanded their money back.

Within 2 levels of known Epik address is the 2nd biggest crypto scam of all time. lol.
