I used to had a bunch of best .xyz like Acrobatic.xyz, Sedan.xyz, TaxiCab.xyz, Steelworks.xyz, etc. Sold on Ebay only $10-$20. It was when the registration fee only $0.5. Now each of them are offered above $10, 000.

I learned it is about time. Swetha bought the .xyz when it was only 0.5$ registration fee and hold for years. And now they are valuable. Now domainers are eager to pay 2000$ for 1 .xyz. That's why no one success like Swetha.

This is the same case with any asset that you will ever buy or hold.

Holding usually compounds the investment.

But speculation will always be there. It can go to zero.

.XYZ can be the next .com and can still rise Exponentially in value.

Higher the risk - higher will be the reward is fact.

I had purchased BTC when it was just $450 a piece in 2016 something. But was always worried at that time as it was trading at less than a dollar few years ago. At last - Couldn't make much out of it.

I had purchased equity just after market crash during covid and now selling the holdings. Profit booking. Don't have the capacity and emotions to hold more.

Do anyone have that much patience and holding capacity? Do anyone have that much control over their emotions such as greed, fear, patience and hope?

If yes, then you can be the king while chances of going bankrupt and lonely is high.

Wanna try you luck with new gtlds or HNS or .com with ar/vr/xr/nft/crypto/meta domains. .. ... and here goes the list of speculative investment/gambles....

Personally I don't think .xyz could be the "next" .com, as these are different use cases in my opinion.

But what I certainly think is, that when com is king, xyz can be queen

Anyone could hold mostly any asset and be rich. But unfortunately there are expenses to life and holding is not always available. That's why building revenue streams from investments and businesses is important to long-term success. If you have money coming in, then you won't need to sell.

Unlucky. It's a shame you weren't like the one who must not be named and had the foresight to know that a random extension on the internet was going to be used sparingly by a few deep pocketed crypto nerds, which made it worth it to buy hundreds of thousands of non-prem renewal names, even though you could do that now and throw money down the drain on basically any of the new extensions and get NOTHING in return other than a big fat bill.
