Hi Guys,
I just have reached a deal with my client. And he's Russian.
As you know, almost common payment method are impossible right now thanks to the Conflict.

So is there a solution in this case besides Crypto?
Thanks for your time!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Why not simply go the crypto way?
Everything else looks quite complicated at the moment for someone from Russia.

@GeorgeQuang Run your deal through a provider like DAN, they do crypto. Whatever you do, don't deal outside escrow, or get into any unusual / quirky propositions (chances are, you'll get ripped). Keep things simple

Dan.com officially banned Russian buyers and sellers. Impossible withdrawal in cryptos.

I'm not so sure about Dan.com (now GoDaddy). They have to follow kyc guidelines for their customers, especially from Russia.

In general, buyers must contact Dan for help with Bitcoin payments. They have it available during checkout, but if the domain price is higher than $2000, they must go through a verification process first...

@GeorgeQuang do you want to sell your domain to somebody in Russia? If so, last time I checked, at least one of Russian registrars was still Afternic partner. It is nic dot ru. So, you may simply list your domain on Afternic with BIN, wait for all database updates, and send your buyer to nic.ru where they will simply search for the domain in question, and pay in local currency inside the country. You will be paid by Afternic as usual.

If, however, you need to send money to Russia, you may try to check with the seller what exact payment methods are they currently able to receive in the first place, via their bank etc. It may well be that they can receive transfers in Chinese Yuan Renminbi for example...

Some banks in Russia like as: Societe Generale (Rosbank), UnicreditBank, RaiffeissenBank are not under sanctions. Try them. Swift works.

But godaddy (afternic) does not works with them impossible to withdrawal.
