Hello guys,

I'm facing a serious issue with Snapnames right now!

After talking with a girl in the support, which is not sweet to me! I backorder a domain two years ago, because I need it in that time.

The domain was gone to another registrar, and someone own it. Now today, snapnames send me an email that you have a pending order of that name, which is the one I backordered two years ago!

I'm backordering more than 4 domains a day with their service, do I have to delete backorder manually each day?

This happened to me before, and the support helped me, but now, they asked me to pay.

Snapnames never remove your backorders even if they're placed 5 years ago in your account, so they attempt to catch for you again, and make money from you!

I'm not going to pay for that, even if it's at 2$. This is unfair guys, what do you think?

Not unfair, this is how a backorder works. You had placed a backorder, looks like now Snapnames successfully caught the domain for you, so you have to pay. If you don't need a backorder anymore, then you have to delete it manually.

Snapnames has an option in their settings where you can opt to retain the backorder if it fails (which is the default setting and will retain it forever I'm guessing) or cancel it after the first attempt.

Select all.... delete
Select all.... delete
Select all.... delete

Have fun!

Under "account information". Would be good if you could let us know is it ticked as default (as I'm sure I remeber turning it off). Also is says for lost auctions so I wonder if that literally means lost auctions or all backorders (names they didn't catch).

yeah, I missed up removing the backorder for the domain name, that's the reason why.

I'm managing tons of names, can't keep deleting domains everyday.

Thanks @D Haynes, mine is not ticked, I think that's the default.

Once a year it's enough.
