It may not be for only those in Europe.

I continued the process of ordering though it was showing about €9, just where I was required to loggin I saw the word promo written somewhere in front of the amount and I clicked on it the cost was changed to €0.

It still requested for me to select card for payment but they didn't charge anything.

it was zero for me before login also .. as soon as i registered and logged in , the price changed

This is applicable to only EU citizens and they are running this promo for like more than 3yrs now... As per their conditions, you will need to stay with them for a year... which means you will have to renew the domain for $44.35... Nominalia is running the same promo... seems both are owned by the same parent company... So be careful...

With the caveat of the 60-day transfer lock, ICANN refers to transferring domains between registrars as a a "right"?

Would a 1-year prohibition on transfer be compatible with ICANN rules?

I just want to understand how any ICANN accredited registrar could "get away" with refusing transfers after the completion of the 60-day transfer lock period (assuming that is indeed what certain registrars are proposing)

They dont refuse but they add some fees for transfer out

its like one way or the other
