question Registrar that Gives You the $ from GoDaddy Auctions Expired Domains?

I could have sworn that a few years ago there was news that there was a registrar where if you had your domains with them, and your domains expired they would go to GoDaddy expired auctions and you would get the bulk of the sale price with the registrar keeping a commission (as well as GoDaddy). Can't find anything through Google, wondering if anyone was familiar with this and knew the registrar?

I've always though that would be a great idea and competitive advantage for a registrar, but it might also be a net loss for a registrar if it means more names get dropped. I think it would certainly increase the flow of names in the market.

Registrars don't work for us i received email asking for a price from company broker asking my price for a domain when already listed and still not pass on the inquiry.

I've bought domains at GoDaddy Expired Auctions, that are selling for $50 at GoDaddy Expired Auctions but not registered at GoDaddy. I've seen this with .Club domains. I even backordered the domain with another register and won the domain, even before GoDaddy deleted their listing saving about $40. Mostly these domains are listed at $50. If you win the $50 auction, it takes forever for them to register. So you should keep looking if it drops and register it elsewhere.

I get some weird ones sometimes at GD auctions too. Just won a name when it went to $50 closeout and it says the estimated date is 35 days out before I get it. According to whois, it doesn't expire until December. I had another name like that and did eventually receive it. I think sometimes Afternic gets stuck with domains that never get transferred out and they put them in the expired auctions?
