yea I've seen many new features introduced by many registrars over years...somehow they all took care and time to explain things well and clearly ... in English not in savish...

looks like this new member employee right here was eager to get to his coffee break

"in English not in savish..."

Savage.

In all seriousness, what they mean is if a domain expires Dec. 31, you can have your renewal refunded until Dec. 26 if you delete the domain.

Yea. I guess it's whenever their renewal period is. But couldn't domainers just take a flyer on 1000 renewals for a year knowing they can get refunded if they don't sell?

In the past, if your domains were renewed or auto-renewed there was no way to receive a refund if you didn't want them to be renewed. Now, if you want a refund, just delete the domain within 5 days after the renewal date.

Hi,

Is it automatic or we have to contact support after deleting?

Does this also apply for backordered domains?

What happens when you delete it? Does it drop or does it go to your auctions?

This announcement is cool and all, but it would be more "official" if OP had a "Sav.com Staff" badge or some other indicator (besides the registrar logo as the profile pic) that the user or account has been vetted by NamePros (a la @Alfa Mod Team @Bravo Mod Team or whoever does that) , like the one @Nick R has. As of this post, all that can be seen is "Sav.com" and "New Member."

Granted, the info presented doesn't appear to be malicious, is probably accurate and could possibly be verified by checking the registrar's site, but it helps if an official link to said info is provided as well.

Why can't I log into my Sav account? I stood awake until 3AM to list a domain for sale and I CAN'T LOGIN?!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Already tried another browser/clearing cache.
We’ve just fixed the issue, try again and let us know if you have any other issues.

When the domain is deleted it enters the pending delete status and then drops.

@Sav.com I want to update my account email at Sav.com but there is no option. Also no proper way to contact. Can you take a look?

Thanks.

To update your account email you'll have to submit a support ticket, you can do that here. We do this to add an extra layer of security.

Two factor login down for anyone else. No way to send a trouble ticket without logging in.
Posting here in hopes that @Sav.com is following replies.
