Just a warming to those of you who are registering or thinking about regging at Sav.com. Their bulk editer for their domains doesn't work and hasn't worked since I started using them over a year ago. But it fools you into thinking it does. This is how they get you when you bulk edit auto-renewals. It doesn't work so you end up renewing many domains you didn't in tend on and they won't reply to your emails for over a week and when they do reply its a "how can I help you kind of message and you have to wait another 7+ days for the next reply.

If you need to do anything with your domains in bulk you can't with Sav. This is how they discourage mass transfers out of their service and you can't turn off auto renew on many domains at once. You have to go into the features page for every domain to turn off auto-renewals.

This is scammy and you can't find a more unprofessional place to domain invest. All time worst. Don't bother.

I tried to edit domains, such as turning off auto-renewals and changing name servers, in bulk at Sav. It worked, but most of time it took a long time to finish the change processes. So I always checked several hours or a day later whether the changes completed. It is always a good practice to recheck to ensure all things done.

Sav's system is well known bulky and slow. I tried to transfer domains in bulk to Sav, and it took a long time to verify each domain that I thought it stopped working. Luckily, I had patience and waited, and the domains were finally transferred successfully.

I have bulk edited my domains and I've even tried deleting domains and nothing happens. Glad you have had success vlbut it's just a dumb system if it doesn't work for everyone....

Not to mention their almost absent customer service.... they literally will take a week or more to reply the first time and another week to reply a second message. It would be faster to send physical letters...

I am so done with Sav.com...

I think scam word about auto renewal settings is a bit harsh. I change renew settings as soon as I get a domain without issue. Transfers need to be done sooner than later. That is actually more a hindrance than auto renewal settings because if you get your name out of there well before exp auto renewal settings are meaningless.

If you are upset that things are getting renewed that you intended to drop well that is another matter to take up with SAV.

I’ve been using Sav since last May and honestly I hv saved a lot of $ cos their prices are very competitive (esp for all the new GTLDs like .xyz were only 0.69 for standard and 1/2 price for premiums last year, .co is only 1.95)!

They have a refund policy, it’s like 10% of domains registered of the MONTH! 10% means the total number of domains registered. For example it’s 8 Jan today and if u wish to delete 3 domains and be eligible for a refund, u need to hv registered over 30 domains from 1st Jan til today, otherwise u will NOT be eligible for a refund and once the domain is deleted, it’s gone, no domain and no refund ( cos it happened to me before 😥).

Also I’d experienced problems with registering .xyz few times (mainly on weekends) including today. Anyway they hv just raised all the reg fees for xyz from 0.69 to 0.88 yesterday so when I bumped into same issue today, I reg elsewhere. Their coms and orgs are also very cheap compare to others!

As to support, i usually get a response within 48 hours. They said that they will hv live support soon.

Yes! There is still alot of room for improvement but just send your feedbacks to support, i find all of them all very helpful!

PS: I hv over 6K domains at Sav and I’m very comfortable with them.

You think I haven't taken it up with Sav? Did you read what I wrote about their nearly absent customer service.

I removed my payment info to prevent them for forcing payments on my card since I'm unable to edit my auto renew settings. But not after they already charged me $166. I asked for a refund ages ago but doubt I'll get it.

You can't be tell in the truth about their CS responding in 48 hours. How much did they pay you to write that 😂? JK.. Maybe they do that for new customers but I've been with them over a year and they always take 6 - 10 days. My last message was sent on the 30th. It's now the 8th and STILL no reply.

I've so had it with them. I have about 100 domains with them. You would think they'd respect people with hundreds of dollars worth of domains in their service..

What's the use... I deleted the $166 worth domains that got forcably renewed against my will and never got a refund for one so apparently my case didn't qualify, maybe because they're Renewals and not new registrations. I complained about their slow customer service about 6 months ago. This is not the first time I've had to go through this shit... But I'm still using their shitty service so maybe it IS my fault!

they had many bugs b4....but now it's almost all fixed.

bulk works fine...renewals..DNs...etc... u just have to make sure to remove from list all expired names...else bulk will fail on all names.

Why should it matter? If I don't want to bulk edit many domain to no auto renew why should it matter? Is it a sly way to force auto-renew?

I have even tried deleting donains from my account and it doesn't work. Sav is broken... It says it will process my order but it never happens... Sav is a fucking mess...

12 day tech support ticket. Still no answer. This is not the first time waiting for ages. In 3 more days it will be half a month... No answer... Not even a first reply.

We are here and happy to help with anything Sav related. We are not aware of any issues with bulk editing Auto Renewal from the domain manager but if you want to submit a ticket and DM me the details I would be happy to look personally.

I've been waiting for a reply since the 30th. That's 13 days! Completely unheard of in this industry. This is the second time your CS has taken forever to get back to me. I've still no reply to my ticket. You telling me "submit a ticket" is playing innocent like my experience with your service is delusional.

@NameFu - I would be happy to take a look and see where the ticket is. Can you DM me what email address you use to login to Sav and the title of the ticket?

Just to keep the thread updated, tickets do need to be submitted by logging into your Sav account then clicking the Help button at the top. This allows us to ensure each ticket comes from an authenticated user and resolve them much faster! If anyone tries to submit a ticket by emailing us, you will get an auto-reply asking you to please login and submit a ticket.

I have always contacted support via email and still had a (late) response. The response email states that contacting via your site is the "faster" way to get a responsel. You should not have a ticketing system at all via email if you stopped giving support to those emailing you. Thats quite confusing, especially after using your "support" email for a year to get customer "support"...

Don't state that the site is the "faster" channel. State that it's the only support channel and don't give tickets to people initiating contact via email.

You had to know that after years of providing support tickets via email that this is going to happen. Is it not a common sense given Nick? Put your self in our shoes.

Plus my email ticket was generated in REPLY to your company support email, so it should be obvious that I'm a customer. It just sounds liike you're coming up with sorry excuses for your sluggish customer support.

I dunno what this talk is all about.

I have ~12k names with Sav. Never got a renewal like that. Also I've just used bulk editor a few days ago to disable all renewals and it worked as usual.

When you have a bug, don't assume the same error happens for everyone else. Take it to their technical support.

Edit: They usually reply in 24 hours or so.

Edit2: I have about 3k or so expired names right now. If that didn't work well, I'd be down like $30k. Nope, that unwanted renewal never happened.

Good for you buddy! Great to hear. I'm migrating out of Sav. It's no wonder Dan doesn't support their domains... They probably realized how problematic it is...

Maybe if you had 12k domains at Sav like twiki here you'd be prioritized. They'd be fools not to respond to his tickets ASAP lol. Imagine how Apologetic Nick would be instead of blaming me for his absent customer support. if I had 12k domains at Sav. He'd probably send me a refund for the forced Renewals, a bouquet and a "thank you for being our customer" letter.
