The key word there is "some".....Not all 900 where doing this and this is not the way to let people go - it dehumanises them, it should be done 1on1 no matter how long that takes

5 senior executives talking to say 10 people a day = 50 people | 900/50 = 18 days to talk to people 1on1 and explain why they are being let go and to offer support and reassure those that did take the piss with hours that they would be able to get good references/help in finding new jobs.......

Not hard to do, just requires some empathy, planning and good people management skills - something this company obviously lacks......

No, Google just returns the most relevant results. If it's a keyword domain then so be it, if it's BetterSmetter.info and it's the best result then it'll return that.
