Over the last couple months I have noticed Sav.com doing more business in .xyz. The prices have been picking up as well. For the first half of 2021 they only caught and auctioned 12 names. But over the last two months they have been picking up steam. True.xyz was the first 4 figure close, it […]

I would also partially attribute it to the queen's success, it's inspiring.

I just purchased my first 3l dictionary word in that extension.

I also had my eye on Update, it's on your list. It had a premium price tag of $250 with $500 renewal I think, on Sav.. Checked it yesterday, & it was gone. So it's interesting it already sold wholesale for that much..

My guess is that somebody is doing some front running, in advance outbound or whatever you wanna call it.. Because, like I mentioned, Update xyz was available for $250 on Sav, at least double that on other registrars just last month, & three weeks later it sells for $2,500. So it probably isn't wholesale, could be retail. Probably the same happened with Justice.

Possibly some I checked were definitely wholesale they were domainers that bought them for $800 - $2,000 that have them for sale $15,000 to $30,000.

You are the catalyst people want to be like you and make those big .xyz sales, they need the inventory now.

Almost all auction sales are wholesale. Currently great 1-word .xyz domains should be worth 5-6 figures to end users.

.Xyz domains have a great prospect. The demand for .xyz domains is now increasing in blockchain/crypto related business. I predict that the demand will be much greater in the future because 3D related business will boom thanks to metaverse and the .xyz extension is the best extension to represent 3D (x, y, z-axis).

6 figures? That might be a bit high in my opinion.

"Quest" was sold for high 5 figures. There are words that have better quality than "quest", especially words that perfectly fit .xyz can easily reach 6 figures. I note that Swetha has priced some of her .xyz domains at 6 figures.

Has anyone noticed that ANY 3L domain with xyz extension is now labelled and priced as premium by the registry and will cost you from $240 to register?
And that's just the floor price!

Yes, I notice that. Most of them have renewal cost of around $10 per year. The investment cost is much lower than acquiring a 3L .com domain.

No need to show the words again... Those words are from my portfolio. He knows the renewal costs well. He just wants to challenge me regarding renewal costs.

Besides, the reg price is much lower if reg at Sav.
Oh..sorry..I thought i was helping you :(

Never mind. Thanks for your help!
I wasn't challenging you, & no I didn't know whether they were standard renewals or not when I asked you, but I could've checked, i'll give you that. But anyway if you have a problem with people discussing your names/prices, don't promote it as your public forum signature.

imo
