Hey all figured with the recent .io 6 figure sale and the nice .xyz sale by a follow NP member. We should open a showcase and discussion thread here.

Metaverse is a fast growing keyword, term and niche! Let's share and discuss our name and news.

I've only got One to start with but its a GOOD one my favorite ending keyword on most names.

MetaverseHub.com

Welcome! :)

So I just moved my entire portfolio from Sedo to Dan. Sedo is too expensive at 15-20% commission. 15% for all cases except if it comes from a partner site then it's 20%. Also, with as fast as everything is moving, locked into a 7 day negotiation after countering is a deal breaker. Dan is less expensive and is more fluid while offering better options for both buyer and seller.

I have received several mid and hi xxxx offers for metaverse//coins.
As mentioned previously Metaverse coins will end up having there own market... such as todays cryptocoins/ altcoins or stablecoins.... https://www.coingecko.com/en/categories/metaverse

P.D I have just checked to make sure I do not have it listed for cheap at BIN price (y)

Nice one, even though yours is good, with respect I think MetaCoins is slightly stronger than your domain though, as it’s a domain directly for crypto, meta (beyond) coins.

I nearly just bought it outright, I knew if I made an offer there was a chance of the owner putting it up. Reason I contacted owner directly because of fake listings experience in the past on Afternic/GoDaddy, wrong decision in hindsight, but just goes to show you don’t learn from experience, as said past experience with me told me ‘fake listing’ ‘too good to be true’.

Even though I believe the singular is the strong variant ie:- BitCoin/DodgeCoin/LiteCoin (not coins), the way ‘meta’ domains are selling right now I saw it as a potential $50k+ domain and possibly an easy $20k if just put straight into auction.

For sure. Plus the fluidity to speak with the buyer on the go is simply great. No need to wait for review from Sedos staff for a certain time unless you use their templante frases.

Will go up in value, just so people will understand you mean Metaverse right?
Some people will think it's MV.

Thing is, emds will also get traffic so companies will want those to be first in searches etc.

I wouldn't even counter 👍 but depends really on your expectations.

One other factor I left out of that post, regarding lack of longtail Metaverse sales is the also the fact..

A Large portion of the very BEST keywords are locked up in the blockchainnames Escrow $Million+ deal by Ca/ssiDy!

So they aren’t even on the market to be bought or sold.

@Elad n 's collection of metaverse+keyword.coms, though smaller, is far more superior and valuable then anything I saw in that portfolio sale when it comes to the metaverse keyword. At lest from what I remember.

I thought that Jason sold the entire package like 4 months back for 5M USD. New owner still has not decided to fraction it up? Um maybe I got it wrong.

Yeah Meta has its punch for sure.
Thinking about it could work out as a good strategy to set a "low" BIN price for a domain (the actuall price you are willing to take) and then much higher prices on other sites. Like stores that introduce super high expensive products, just to make you belive that the "already expensive produc you are looking at"t is actually a steal compared with top top:)

Yes agreed, his are far superior than most in there.

I’m simply saying good portion of related keywords and averages ones in there that could be used sold $2-$5k right now Brandable wise theres a fair Chunk in there.

Just pointing out part of the reason of lack of smaller sales on Metaverse

However there are a few in there that are Very good. Like these 3 🔥

com
+Wearables
+Rentals
+Crypto

Earth 2: Buy and Trade Virtual Land - Join the Metaverse
https://earth2.io

A second Earth, a metaverse between virtual and physical reality in which real-world geolocations correspond to user generated digital environments.

Really cool implementation. Can someone explain in simplistic terms what is happening? Are they actually selling digital versions of land? What does purchaser actually own and what is it good for? Can one actually own digital land exclusively? What prevents other businesses from selling the same pieces of land?

Nice times ahead as we are getting closer to the intersection that became something more real than the concept always talked about.
It's valid not only for meta or metaverse keyboards but to anything related to it.

Once in a lifetime imo

Domain Name Wire: Aftermarket sales of meta domains are hot

"So far this year, 41 domains with meta in them have sold for $2,000 or more, compared to just 4 last year. And just 16 of the domains that sold this year were .com. Clearly, when it comes to blockchain-related topics, people are willing to go with alternative extensions such as .io.

Or even .best. .Best? Yes, meta.best sold for $10,000. Meta.so sold for $149,000! Metapay.finance sold for $8,100 just days after it was registered."

was the sale public? if so, do you mind disclosing that was in the package that sold for 5M?

Gone up to $750,000 now.......

Who knows... this James character, whoever he is, might just get his asking price with meta realestate being big. :xf.wink: I wish him much success.
