The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
@Rob Monster, can we count on you to answer the questions raised in this thread? If it will help, we can amalgamate them into a single post.

That would need to be a list from all. The first issues should be all the lies PRE hack regarding his products and services and the lengths he went to in order to cover up those lies. That is what created this situation.

Come on John. Lighten up. Everyone likes lemonade.

As for TrustPilot, I think their content integrity team is pretty mighty.

As for TrustRatings, we have not stuffed the ballot as far as I know.

As for staff from Epik on NP, really most have moved on. :)

Hugs to you.

FYI - Non answers to all = LIAR.

You know like how do you end up with a team of developers that are essentially holding you captive, and "shitty Russian code" and not do anything about it in a decade?

Either Epik was aware of the poor security protocols that were employed, and did nothing about it.

OR

Epik was not aware of the poor security protocols being used.

Neither option is that good.

Sammamishindependent podcast w R.M (audio)

Sammamish is a fast-growing suburb of Seattle. The bias of the interviewers is progressive. Nevertheless, we had a thoughtful discussion. There was some editorial bias but it was a thoughtful discussion:

There was a similar discussion for about 2.5 hours with NPR the same week, but NPR never published that interview. They just distilled it into a villainous narrative. Pity.

Normally, it's on third-party - Outside counsel & IT/CSec/IRA company to determine whether/when a company needs to go public (sensitive info) and/or notify customers regarding a breach.
First; IRA must properly investigate the breach for legal and notification purposes. Depending on circumstance, law enforcement may have a say (companies have approximately 60 days to report a breach to regulatory authorities) , etc. Going public too early could affect company's customers ...

@Lox, you seem like a nice person. However, are you a spokesperson for Epik? I want to give @Rob Monster the benefit of the doubt that he is able to speak for his company and be straight with his customers.

Exactly, how can you claim to have a totally secure system if you have never had anyone review the code you purchased. It is insane and just proves how little he cares about others. People believed him and were hurt by his lies and this fool has the nerve comes here calling people trolls and threaten people with lawsuits.

Let's make a list of Monster's lies and deceit and intimidation tactics:
1) White label VPN claimed it was his own.
2) Stole marketing materials for DDoS and claimed it was his own.
3) Claimed to have totally secure site when he had no control of the code and never had it reviewed for 10+ years.
4) Stuff polls on Name pros with employees.
5) Fake reviews on Trustpilot
6) Hired Joey Camps and maybe others to "research" Mollie because of her Wiki entry about Epik.
7) Lied about hack
8) Lied about taking down Joey Camps' website.
9) Said hosting was on own servers but was reselling AWS.
10) Threatened entire NP forum and owner.
11) Lied about me (actual defamation) and threatened me.
12) Lied about storing of FULL credit card details
13) Lied about scope of the hack.
14) Sent shills to namepros to parrot his lies.

Please add to this list. I'm gonna do an article of my own.

Yeah, but he lied about the hack and attacked those who told the truth.

I'm spokesperson but not for E company. You're right.
I think, the problem is RM is not allowed to tell /pr much ... for now.

Correct, and it was not entirely flattering and of course they know that. As for the 2.5 hours of really meaty discussion, I imagine it will not see the light of day. After all, it did a good job of working to defuse the artificial polarity that the media is so actively perpetuating. Instead they gave us Lex Luthor.

What is your relationship to Rob Monster? When was the last time you communicated with him or an epik rep?

It has nothing to do with hate speech or religion. The issue is you lied and continue to lie. Nice try.

Let me go along with this line of thought. Do you think that in the meantime the company is allowed to make marketing statements that give the impression that nothing is wrong?

Silly question.

Has there ever in the history of NP been a thread to reach 100 pages in a shorter time than this thread?

Gotta hand it to the trolls though. They can produce the content. Redundant and misguided but it sure does drive up the page views. I think their popcorn is over-salted and too greasy.

Fortunately, it pairs with LEMONADE.

I hope these postings will work out to your advantage in later research.

Rob is posting pictures of lemonade, popcorn, and humble bragging about the activity on a thread regarding his companies poor security while also providing no updates.

I wonder if Rob's customers will find his responses as amusing as he does.

Yeah, he seems super contrite about his lies and incompetence hurting so many people. When God judges him, don't feel sorry for him. Just stand back. His responses really are disgusting considering all that is now known.

Gaslighting
Gaslighting is a colloquialism that is defined as making someone question their own reality.

The term is also used informally to describe someone (a "gaslighter") who persistently puts forth a false narrative which leads another person (or a group of people) to doubt their own perceptions to the extent that they become disorientated and distressed. This dynamic is generally only possible when the audience is vulnerable such as in unequal power relationships or when the audience is fearful of the losses associated with challenging the false narrative. Gaslighting is not necessarily malicious or intentional, although in some cases it is.

That's not really a fair characterization.

There will be more official statements in due course about actions taken and findings made. I was just checking in with you guys to thank the fans.

As for the trolls that are fishing for information to be used to be out of context for reasons that don't help Epik customers, I can't really be of much help.

The commitment to cybersecurity is at an all-time high. The good news is that we have a vast technical team. The bad news is that Epik Labs projects have basically stopped for a while.

Back to basics. That should actually be music to NamePros ears. Not tone deaf. Stay tuned.

You could teach a master class were it not for the fact that you have zero credibility. Oh and your avatar does not even look like you. What's up with that?
