The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Acquiring sites such as trustratings and the other domain forum sure gives the impression that RM wants to control the conversation. This is also seen from the amount of staff and proxy accounts on NP. It seems that organic and unbiased feedback does not go his way.

Tyrants and grifters always need to control the narrative because truth is there enemy. Mr Monster is both but problem is so are the "hackers". I'd like to see them all go away.

I agree 100%... that is the biggest problem with the Epik hack... the data was released to the public and there was no cherry picking of the data released to my knowledge... with what you posted it appears the data has now been parsed and unauthorized use attempts are being performed

False. The biggest problem with the Epik hack is that Mr Monster lied about his products and services and tricked people in trusting him. The reality is that, with a joke site like Epik, all their sites were probably hacked long before, many times, by many different people, over many years. Wouldn't surprise me even if Mr Monster knew of and maybe even paid off, previous hacks and never announced.

I expect criminals to act like criminals. I do not expect "Christian", free speech, multi-millionaire business men like Rob Monster. To lie and steal profit with no concern for others and then threaten anyone who tries to tell the truth and warn others.

He has threatened dozens of people for simply telling the truth about his products and services BEFORE the hack even happened. Since then he has threatened every member of this forum board with lawsuits, written letter to the owner of this board defaming me and the nutjob even hired some guy to harass some little internet girl because he didn't like her wiki entry about Epik.

No such thing. Usually when these people say female hacker they mean "female" hacker.

There are certainly female hackers.
I am not sure where you get that belief from.

Whether you agree with their cause or not, there are people from all walks of life with the passion and technical ability.

Comments here:

1. TrustPilot independently awards Epik 4.9 stars.

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/epik.com

upload_2021-10-12_16-20-17.png

Were it not for a few trolls with fake 1-star reviews, it could be a remarkable 5 stars. I realize that there are a few vocal folks trollposting this thread who like to complain and say that Epik is incompetent but it is hard to fake awesomeness. The crowd eventually does get it right.

2. TrustRatings.com is indeed an Epik product. If TrustPilot ever becomes as woke-weaponized as Wikipedia has become, we have a backup plan in place. That is not about controlling narrative, that is about turning lemons into lemonade. We have not really emphasized that project but it allows us every domain in the Epik landers to have a ratings badge in the upper right without having to pay nosebleed fees to TrustPilot. For example, like this one that arrived earlier today:

upload_2021-10-12_16-23-43.png

As for the Epik brand, you have to keep in mind that Epik's market share is less than 1%. Despite being 1/60 the size of Godaddy, we do consistently outpoll them on NamePros. Why? Because we have a really good product and a very attentive service organization. We do listen to our critics and improve continually.

As for the reputation, it is worth noting that our TrustPilot score did not drop below 4.8 during this episode. We have more domains under management today than on September 13, and without any new promo, so far today nearly 1500 transfers into Epik have been initiated compared to modest 70 transfers out.

On behalf of the Epik team, I do want to thank the NamePros community for the continued loyalty and patience towards Epik. We certainly don't take it for granted!

This is your strength. I would develop this feature even further.

Thank you for your review of TrustRatings (y)

Valid criticism is not "trollposting". You have yet to address many of the valid concerns and criticisms.

Ignore, blame, deflect.

The security protocols Epik used to protect their customer's information speaks for itself. Was it competent to store sensitive information in plain text, credit information, login credentials, etc. Not in my view, or the view of almost any expert in the cybersecurity / IT fields.

Promote your company again in this thread?
When can you stop?
You don't need to advertise anymore. The whole world know by now who Epik is.

I do not believe you. No sane person paying attention believes you. You are just a dishonest person at your core.

Most of the ratings are fake because you hire cheap people to vote for you.
Old trick. Why do you need 37 staff members here?

I was not universally reacting to your posts. I respect your intellect, but your bias is apparent.

The trollposters know who they are and likely so do you.

Of course, everyone knows that but the scary thing is as non self aware as Rob is he knows that and still uses it. It's a sickness. Grifteritis.

My bias doesn't matter. The facts are the facts.

When do you expect to release more information on this hack? Surely, you know more by now.

You deleted the tweet about the initial hack, and have really made no statements on the 2nd or 3rd hack.

Are more hacks coming? Is your system secure now?

Maybe quit the BS about "struggle sessions" and address the valid concerns people have about the "shitty code" and other poor security measures that were employed.

You are the CEO. You are Epik. Time to man up and take responsibility for your actions with regards to how this happened, and quit leaving customers out on an island to speculate and deal with the potential damage.

Your marketing did not match reality when it came to security. Your actions since the hack have not inspired confidence.

Why should anyone trust you?

well, judging by the amount of energy that wiki girl Mollie put into all of this, I wouldn't want to make them mad.

You're suggesting that Mollie hacked Epik?

As for TrustPilot, I think their content integrity team is pretty mighty.

As for TrustRatings, we have not stuffed the ballot as far as I know.

As for staff from Epik on NP, really most have moved on. :)

Hugs to you.

Hugs to you.

They came in handy for your phenomenal mid-year NamePros registrar of the year win in 2020, winning by a much smaller margin over Dynadot than the Epik staff member count.

https://www.namepros.com/threads/do...gistrar-in-the-business-2020-edition.1179681/

I guess they moved on by the end of 2020, when Epik got landslided by Dynadot in the end of the year poll.

@Rob Monster, can we count on you to answer the questions raised in this thread? If it will help, we can amalgamate them into a single post.
